Yeah, seriously. I went back and looked at the original games on GOG and - while the art has that sorta early PC game ugliness to it - it still has charm. There's soul to it, dammit! I wish they would've channeled that feeling here.

Funny, while I'm also nostalgic looking at these, I remember HATING this b/c it just wasn't the genre of game I was used to playing. I remember a cousin gifted it to me as a birthday present and me smashing my head against the proverbial wall not knowing how to play it. What I remember most are the colors, lifebars, and the menu of your dudes on the left side. I'd be curious to give it another shot now as a grown ass man.
