Online, Sony is a couple days away from going bankrupt. Can't afford Kadokawa. Doesn't have any games.

Real life, Sony is a favorite to win best game of the year or one of their exclusives or console exclusives is likely to win. Their stock is up, they had a crazy good quarter and could exceed their forecast and maybe have their most profitable year ever.

What's your definition of popular? It's consistently been the best selling video game accessory in the USA this year by dollar amount and tops the Circana charts for all video game accessories this year by that criteria.

It's a very solid device whose utility has only gotten better with time due to firmware updates and the cloud beta currently underway.
