Whoa, that's a very impressive start for Ratchet and Clank. I wish we still had the Shrine of Data so I could compare Naruto's to the previous titles in the series.. but 125k with the holiday sales period looming leads me to believe this one should do similar or better numbers to 3 (finished around 350k, right?).

P.S. It would have been a lot sweeter if we didnt know how much AC was gonna do in advance.. imagine the reaction if 300k+ wasnt known in advance? :lol

Impressive numbers all round. SC III seems to have gotten off to a good start. If I remember correctly sales were about 120k for all 3 platforms in the first week.

Of course the Animal Crossing sales are bloody huge, definitely see this doing 1m before the holiday season is over.

Most third party portable titles bomb, no matter where they are.

Great sales for Naruto 4. Naruto 3 did 116,964 last year and Naruto 2 only debuted at 76,900 a couple years back. This franchise is still growing. Soul Calibur 3 did pretty good, SC2 managed 140K across 3 platforms when it launched. A significant dropoff, but not too bad in the current climate and compared to the horrible western sales.

Well, Tamagitchi DS has outsold every psp 3rd party game in Japan and Naruto DS outsold every psp release for this year, so no. But the real test is next week whih sees Dragon Quest Slime Mori Mori and many other games including Powerpro 8 and Dragonball Z.

Oh and Bebpo is right, these sales overall are very strong with 4 games over 100K. Looking at the DS release list I think we may see some solid growth this year.

That's insane for Animal Crossing! 325k is simply unbelievable for this game. I knew it would be big, not OMG we just outsold every DS game since launch good.
