The rumor about RDR2 made me think that guy who asked if GTA was being made to run on Switch 2 was actually into something after all.

Anyway, I'll take Goldeneye 2, StarFox 64 sequel that doesn't suck and Rogue Squadron 1/2 remake.

Games that might actually happen: Mario 128, Mario Kart 9, OOT remake.

According to same rumor we will get Kart, which doesn't look good for Mario. Personally I want the platformer at launch at the kart racer 8 months in, but a mp game fills a needed role and can be boosted with dlc in a more elegant way than a Mario game that has to cook longer.

RDR2 will be 7 year old game when the console comes out, and heck, it would probably suggest that Rockstar is making a next-gen version for PS5 and Xbox, and to that point you may as well also release it on a system that can obviously run it.
It's a big game of 12 year old consoles, it will hardly be representative of where GTA6, a completely different beast, will end up.

Yeah they could make a next gen version for PS5 and Xbox, but having it for Switch 2 launch implies they actually care about grabbing sales from the platform, and if they're bothering to think about that then they could be thinking about GTA running on it.
