What's the most graphically simple (or lowest specced, or "ugliest") game you've played recently?

Kenshi for sure.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Trying out a bunch of games on the Sega Saturn, guess any of those would qualify.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble.

Yea it's a 2024 Switch game but it's not really doing anything that the original didn't on GameCube.

Was playing this gem of a game last night. Shame M$ don't make games like this anymore. Truly fun, interesting with nice gameplay hooks. I know it didn't release in a great state, but it sure plays great today.

Though it looks worse than many Switch games. Even in 4K the details/art/tech just isn't there. It's not ugly, like it looks fine but... Just not very impressive.

Looks absolutely fucking terrible. But at the same time is very fun to play.

Thanks to the recent 1.6 update dropping, I've been playing plenty of Stardew Valley on my newly acquired PS5 Pro, ignoring the Pro patched stuff in favour of this pixel art masterpiece. :messenger_grinning_smiling:

ugliest goes firmly to the Monster Hunter beta on console. never played a AAA game that is as disgusting looking as that one. and all while performing like shit too!

but if we talking simple but appealing, probably Tokyo 42 on Steam Deck. never finished it, started a new playthrough.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

Game isn't graphically taxing, but it's mimicking the art style of the original NES Shadowgate and has crazy good pixel art.
