You are probably using a browser that is inserting the idiotic "smart quotes" that are a different character on the left/right side of what you are quoting.
iOS for instance does this, it can be turned off though.
Here’s an example with “smart quotes”. Notice the difference? The example in the beginning of my post used straight quotation marks, the latest ones are curved inward.
Anyone whose written any sort of text parser code will be familiar with all the dumbass things text editors do.
edit: Yeah just tested, from my iPhone I get results that don't respect the quotation marks, from my laptop in Chrome I get the results I'm looking for. It's called "Smart punctuation" in the iOS settings if you want to turn that off and are using an Apple iDevice. Not sure what the behavior is on Mac by default.
