Can't win if you don't play!
I'm sure the calc heads will be here talking about "our chances" but it won't hurt to put a dollar down.
You can't win if you don't play, but why waste money? you literally have a 1 in what? 13-15 million chance of winning a powerball? the probability is just ridiculous, don't get me wrong i don't have a problem in people wasting money in the powerball, it's the "junkies" i have a problem with, and by junkies i mean the people who spend every fucking dime they get on scratch offs to never break even, maybe once a month a month they will break even or even cash in more than they spent that month, only to take that money and buy more.
There was a guy who worked for my grandfather who spend every penny of his check on scratch offs, gave him a bonus and instead of spending that money on presents for his 3 kids he bought multiple $50 scratch offs.
People like that disgust me, the whole scratch off and lottery system in general is thrive on addicts, if i had a buck in change to put towards a ticket i would just put it in a change holder and save it, but again no problem against people who buy a ticket for each weeks powerball but never depend on it because you have a better chance of having a beer with jesus.

"i can't win it if i'm not in it" - Dale Gribble
true words.
I never got why people trashed people that bought lottery tickets, it's $1
I can't get my dick sucked by a famous porn star if im not trying, doesn't mean it's going to happen, and powerball is more than a $1 if you want to play the powerball bullshit.
Like i said if you wanna waste money towards it, it's your prerogative, and remember money adds up, if you played 1 card a week for a year that's $52 lost if you didn't play the "multiplier" which if you plan on winning you would be a fool not to so thats what? $104? what if you decide to play the power ball plus another one like the cash 3 or whatever your state does?
money adds up, for instance i used to buy a redbull everyday before work, that's "just" $2 right? lets say we go by standard work days in a year thats what? rougly 250 days? thats $500 i now save since i stopped drinking those, even more since i kicked sugar all together.
what you think is just $1-2 adds up, if you really sat down and crunched the numbers of what you spend your money on you will think a lot of shit you buy is just ridiculous, now granted.. everyone needs their "pleasure" items such as cokes or a candy bar from now on but don't act like a dollar is just a dollar because that shit adds up in the long run.
