It's litterally "The City" from the NBA2K series, i.e. an interactive microtransaction storefront with a few actual interesting social features

Its a horrible unintuitive lobby system that makes the player spend unnecessary time to do anything.

It was created for the sole purpose of farming microtransactions. It's just like NBA 2k's the city. For example, instead of using a menu to get into an online game, you have to walk around at a preset speed. It takes a while to get from place to place but don't worry, 2k has a solution for that... Want move faster, pay x amount for a skateboard. Still not fast enough? Pay even more for a go kart. Want to earn extra coins? Go find the state farm rep and do a bunch of activities for state farm so that you can earn coins. Think I'm joking?

Think again....

Nothing about this is conducive to quick and fun gameplay. It's about creating a giant problem, marketing it as a feature, then selling you the solution.

In related news, ARK: Survival Evolved looks a lot like Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

(I mean, they both occur on land. Not in the ocean. So there's that.)

I'm pretty sure they are still fun for kids

I will take WCW vs NWO Revenge and Wrestlemania 2000 over the entirety of wrestling games released since them. No, they're not for kids. They're still the best wrestling games ever made because they weren't made with greed in mind. The controls were simple and the content was enough to get the job done. You can keep your monetized and broken $130 WWE garbage every year, Consumer. I'll stick to fun video games, which is the point of the medium. Then again I don't know why I'm entertaining you, given how bad your takes are on, well, pretty much everything you post.

And you are?

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
If you mean it’s a cynical advertising hellscape… sure. I see it.
