Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

More cloud-playable games will be added over time and support for the feature will come to Xbox consoles and the Xbox app for PC in 2025.

Supported titles at launch include Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Modern Warfare 2, Final Fantasy XIV, Hogwarts Legacy, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Star Wars Outlaws and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.

The feature, which also works with titles not included with Game Pass Ultimate, is available in all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming is available.

The full line-up of currently supported games:

Microsoft recently confirmed the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Headline additions to the service in the second half of November include Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, which was released on Tuesday, and Stalker 2, which came out today.

For those wondering, when you go to the website and choose to play the games you own, it actually shows ALL of their available games that have that option. It won't just show yours, even though you are signed in. If you click on one you own, it says "play, you own this". If you choose one you don't own, it offers you take you to the Xbox store and purchase it. There is a tab called PURCHASED, which makes it easier to see yours. This is what it looks like for me:

Elden Ring and Red Dead 2 still need to rebuy on PC. :(
Already rebought Cyberpunk and a few others.

They might be playable on the old Xbone X in my bedroom. I think.

It's good news that there are so many major and recently released games supporting Xcloud in the first block of games. Square Enix and Ubisoft seem to be the most involved.
It makes me think that there will be a significant majority that will allow cloud gaming vs. those that don't.

Hopefully it will also help more games to be Playanywhere.

I am near Toronto with gig fiber internet and the streaming is unusable. If this is xboxs future count me out.
I am at work playing on their streaming service right now and it's working great. And the connection I have at work is only 600mb cable. I am only getting 476mb at the moment. It's a nice option to have when not at home in front of the TV using the actual console.

Your proximity to a data center probably matters as much, if not more, than your own connection speed.

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
If only the streaming latency wasn’t ass…

I've used it multiple times without issues over wireless. Just depends on where you are I think. I have fiber as well, regular old walmart router.

Streaming a game you already own... Why? Once again streaming is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Most games can be downloaded wholesale in a few minutes if you have good internet.

You're ignoring the people who are away from home & just want to have a quick game session to kill time.

The day will come where we won’t need consoles. I see this as progressing the medium into that inevitable future. I’m pretty sure people were saying we didn’t need streaming video services or work from home options, but here we are.

I’d be happy to one day subscribe to PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox services that let me play games through their services, without needing hardware. Maybe they have tiers of power (PS6, PS6 Pro, PS6 Elite, etc.), kind of like how nvidia does with their streaming. I don’t care to own anything anymore. I don’t replay games often enough, so owning is trivial.

Literally only wanted this for Balatro on my phone (yes I know there's a native app now but I want my progress) so I'm hyped for this.

I have Cyberpunk and Hogwarts unplayed. If it works I will absolutely be playing them over streaming. I am playing Dragon Age on GeForce Now at the moment. I didn’t notice BG3 on the list - that too.
