Viagra Boys - Cave World

It basically has zero skips

Eminem - The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)

Unmatched in technical and lyrical abilities. It's going to be a sad day when this man steps away from the game.

Idles - Tangk

Not as good as their previous albums but it still has the Idles spirit

Tyler, The Creator - CHROMAKOPIA

It got better and better after multiple listening sessions

not 100% sure, it was probably a Pattern Seeking Animals album, but not sure which. I freshly discovered this band this year and was instantly addicted... hence me listening to mostly them during the first half of the year.

it's in essence a side project of a bunch of current and former Spock's Beard members, and it's similar to Spock's Beard, but I think they are better lol

either Spooky Action at a Distance

or Only Passing Through

possibly even Prehensile Tales... but I think I listened to the other 2 more... but I listened to the song Lifeboat a shirtton, so in terms of time total, it's in the running simply due to thst 😅

I'm probably missing an album or two but these are the ones I can think of.

1. Blood Incantation - Absolute Elsewhere
It's an awesome mix of 90s death metal and 70s prog rock. I've listened to it so many times since it released.

2. Wormwood - The Star
One of my favorite bands. Hard to define their genre but I would say black metal-ish? They've also changed their sound throughout the years. Earlier works include folk metal.

3. Mastodon - Crack The Skye
An album I felt I needed to revisit after I heard its getting a 15th anniversary rerelease and it got many replays throughout the year. Probably my second favorite Mastodon album after Leviathan.
