In all of the three movies, do we ever see a black person? I mean a character with lines or even a person in the background.

There are as many black people in those movies as there are at the Oklahoma City playoff games. I hope this answers your question.

There are black people on the ship (obviously), and I'm pretty sure there are some extras in the mining scenes in Raiders.

Not sure why it matters, though. None of them are really in settings (Nazi-controlled territory and India) where you'd expect to see many blacks.

Is anyone outraged that there are no black Terminators?

They don't make black Terminators because it would make it that much harder for the Terminator to do his job. Imagine a black Terminator going back in time to 90s LA... he'd be getting pulled over by every police officer in the city. The machines are smarter than this, they know of our culture's prejudices.

While we are on the topic of bad minority representation, imo Jar Jar Binks was way worse than Short Round but Short Round was still pretty bad.
Were there any Polynesians in Star Wars? Is George Lucas racist?
Jar Jar Binks man...that shit doesn't scrub off.

Haha good call. That's why they send machines back in time to buy guns - machines that look like upstanding citizens :

Now that's the sort of person I would trust with an Uzi.

Good answer.

Shh, Lucas might hear you. Next thing you know, Indy 5 is announced, wherein Indy has a black sidekick, who calls him "J-Dog" and "IJ", and steps in dog turds in oh-so-hilarious gags.

Can't argue with that.

Yes, there's an entire boat crew in Raider's. Also keep in mind that these movies are generally set in the Middle East, Europe, China and India. Not a whole lot of black people in those places during that time frame.

Captain Katanga, right there in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Even has a heroic role.

Jesus Christ, can we stop with the faux outrage over faux racism?

This made me LOL :D

It's true :(

Hopefully they add in practical black people, I CAN'T STAND CGI black people.

There are tons of movies with computer generated black people, but most people have no idea those police officers or hospital workers were CGI, because they're seamlessly blended with white actors. But there are few cases when they stick out (those afros!) and now CGI sucks and practial black people are the bomb. Nonsense. Just look at how Spielberg used CGI in Amistad and you'll realize how great CGI in the hands of the right director.

But Practical black people are so much more charming because they're actually there. The irl lighting interacts with them flawlessly, and the actors have more fun looking at them. They love the artistry!
They can also respond to practical black people's dehumanizing stares even quicker than they can to black CG stares.
Also, It takes a lot more physical work for a puppeteer to work a black puppet than for an animator to press a button and move a CG black person.
Alas, film making has lost all of it's humanity.
:'(

Indiana Jones movies are about as racially diverse as Mario Kart 8's roster, i.e. not very diverse at all unless you count the people from the native cultures Jones is plundering artifacts from.

The hell does that mean? He treks practically all over the globe... but that doesn't count because they're locals?
