GT: "Sunset Overdrive is my most anticipated XB1 game, period!"

That trailer is awesome. If they are going with that kind of humor in the game I'm set ;)

Better trailer here (E3 2014):

Definitely getting an 'adult' Ratchet & Clank vibe here... good times appear to be ahead. This game has me on color palette and overal style alone.

My god, this game looks like an orgy in which you are all the participants at once.

Like Bessy67 said, this is golden "back of the box" quote material for sure!
XD

Yep, definitely one of the most exciting looking next gen games coming.

I have to say this, as I'm watching more and more of that gametrailers video what keeps occurring to me is that this game might very well be one of the best rolling disclosures of a game that I think I've ever seen. Just when you think you know everything there is to know about how this game is setup, you are treated to more and more pleasant surprises, and it all looks so damn good. It genuinely feels as if Insomniac is really onto something and could end up making the best game they've ever made. But even if doesn't end up being that good, this is sure as hell the most excited I've ever been about one of their games prior to release.

Everything about this just oozes fun.

It seems to be everything people have been asking for in games:
colorful
smooth
movement based
crazy and zany
focus on gameplay

Can't wait to preload this in a month!

Love the way the game just seems so new .. There are games like it, but nothing really like it. Lol

anyway I wish it were rated T so I could play it with my kids... Hopefully the "adult content" is tastefully done and not high school level humor like Saints Row.

The art alone for this game is enough to sell people. I really think this will spark a Comeback for Insomniac, and be thier best game since A Crack in Time.

That interview raised my hype quite a bunch! I was already expecting it but more uncertain of what to expect, now Im still quite uncertain but it definitely looks veeery fun to play!

its my most anticipated xbox1 game too to be honest. Would've been quantum break but i'm not sure on all the tv and episodic stuff for that game.

they never sold out, and broke out of their safe IP shell and totally went for it even after a few misses. it just looks like so much fun to play and looks all very cohesive from a gameplay and presentation standpoint.

insomniac deserves it.

from playing it I THINK this game will do pretty damn well..... wish i had more time with it, it just got out rank a bit for me because i was so impressed with shadows of mordor lol

we have gore and language censors you can turn on which may help for ya

Kinda annoyed I have to get an X1 just to play this, dunno if I'll get go for a cheap deal and then trade it in later or what, but definitely want to dick around with it after hearing it's comparisons to DMC style system.

I just don't care for it graphically speaking, the whacky, over-the-the-top themes looks very forced, and I think it won't be universally liked but only speak to a specific demographic. Not sure it will sell well tbh...

But hopefully it is successful enough for a sequel, would like this idea fleshed out in a different world and applied to future Ratchet games.

Without a doubt that Gametrailers video was the best media I've seen for this game. I saw different areas, different moves, different objectives and different effects.

The draw right now for me is the color, the open world, and the game's focus on skill in terms of wedding platforming to combat.

The drawback seems to be the same drawback as most of the videos and commentary I've seen - the attitude - it goes a bit too far, tries a bit too hard to the point of forcing it, and can seriously outstay its welcome. And the game bugging you every 30 seconds about mission objectives is exactly the kind of thing that drives me batshit in other games.
