mac release?
Sure, just boot camp Windows 10 on it.mac release?
By retail you mean disc versions? I wonder if they'll sell code versions at stores.A shame Play Anywhere isn't available for retail version, I would've liked to test those settings out a bit, it's seems pretty awesome and extensive.
Co-op only so horde and campaign.Cross-play?
Co-op only so horde and campaign.
Co-op only so horde and campaign.
I want to get it on pc, but I'm worried it'll die of quickly online. Might just get it on xbox.
That would be cool, but with PC being a PC I could see people modding their way around restrictions like that. They should do a "controller only" queue so that I can play multiplayer with my Xbox friends. Just cut mouse and keyboard support in the game and if it detects a Xbox controller then I can jump in.
It's cross play on Pc and X1.

This is what the gears website says:It will be still Xbox One port thoughCan't wait for Scorpio ports.
Also in multiplayer?
Crossplay opens up a wider community to play with than ever before across our co-op modes. Heres what to expect in Gears of War 4:
Campaign: Play co-op campaign across Xbox and PC. Your saves and collectibles transfer to both platforms, allowing you to pick up the action regardless of which platform you play on.
Horde: Fight the Swarm alongside your friends and find new allies in matchmaking from either Xbox or PC.
Versus: Train up your skills in Co-Op Versus with friends from either platform. To preserve the competitive nature of Gears and individual balance for each platform, Crossplay is not enabled in standard Versus multiplayer.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition says hello, i won't be so optimistic.
By retail you mean disc versions? I wonder if they'll sell code versions at stores.
Problem is, something like that might be exploitable. What happens when someone figures out how to trigger aim assist while using kb/m?
every time i read "unlocked fps" or "not capped at 30" as a bullet point feature for a pc game i die a little inside.
I don't know how the game will present any challenge at all with mouse support. I love CSGO and Overwatch on PC, but the slower nature of rolling and shotgun gameplay shines on controllers and actually presents a consistent challenge.
Anyone with experience with the GOW1 port on PC wanna chime in?
This is what the gears website says:
Thank you. This is good "news" as I plan to play multiplayer on Xbox and it would suck to play against M&K.
Great to have cross play coop though.
I wonder if games like Forza will have cross play multi, it would make sense.
Different engine though, and the one which is actually designed to work on modern hardware.Gears of War: Ultimate Edition says hello, i won't be so optimistic.
What are the chances of a 680 running at least multiplayer
Modding in UWP?That would be cool, but with PC being a PC I could see people modding their way around restrictions like that.
Killer Instinct runs on a potato PC and Forza Apex runs smooth as butter.and probably insane computer requirements like all their windows store games,
Modding in UWP?![]()
You can mod UWP who says you can't?
Considering that Gears Ultimate Edition was one of the worst PC ports in recent years, this is something I would be very hesitant to claim, ignoring the fact that we're judging this on a bunch of claims from an unproven developer.Sounds like one of the best PC ports in history.
I believe thats a UWP deficiency.I don't trust MS on a pc port until I see it.
No word on SLI?
I believe thats a UWP deficiency.
At this time out data is as follows from MS.
Gears Ultimate - Not great
QB - Butt tier
KI - Flawless
Forza - Flawless
