I do not know if you’re being real with yourself right now or not, Mark Cerny did talk about Ray Tracing as a visual effect and as a sound effect and this is according to the guy who wrote the WIRED article that it is associated with both of them, the sound and the visual, and Sony has CONFIRMED HARDWARE RAY TRACING TWICE FOR PS5, there’s no way around this my guy, give it up.

Just because I'm more convinced on the xbox side of things with regards to ray tracing doesn't mean I don't need to see clear proof of it there also. I do. So, are we all finally done? It was important to you 4 years ago to convince people here that X1X will have ZEN without providing any single damn proof. People here just trying to provide you a proof that PS5 will have RT, literally a frickin quotes from Mark Cerny, then PS5 features slideshows which says - Hardware Based Raytracing. RT for PS5 is mentioned more times, especially by Mark Cerny, the system architect, yet, at Project Scarlet teaser last year at E3, someone mentioned that XSX will have hardware accelerated RT - BELIEVE!

There is nothing happening in Feb. I'm not being negative but if there was something going down, one of the reliable insiders like Jason Schrier would have leaked it by now or there would have been a whisper from someone like him about an impending reveal or show or whatever.
I feel GDC will come and go and still Sony will remain tight lipped. E3 time is when we're definitely going to see PS5.

People here have discussed for ps5 everything from HBM2e, to RERAM, to dual GPUs, one on each side of that dev kit design, some have speculated 13.8 all the way to 14TF. Shit, people get excited! Point it out as many times as you like. Scream it from the rooftops. Yes, I wanted and hoped Xbox One X would have have Zen, and based on conversations I had with people who worked on the damn thing at E3, who obviously couldn't tell me much and at the same time probably didn't want to burst an excited fan's bubble, said just enough for me to treat it as potential confirmation that it had it. I'm not ashamed of that lol, and I laugh every time you people act like I should be.
It was pretty clear for anyone who had paid attention to all my posts back then, as opposed to cherry picking just the ones that fit their agenda, where I was getting my xbox one x + zen beliefs from. It was also pretty clear from those same posts that I wouldn't have given a damn if I was wrong so long as the console delivered. Xbox One X delivered. I never thought it'd be able to perform like it has in some games from the time i've had it. I was thinking true 4K gaming was out of reach for it still prior to release, except in something like Forza. So, by all means, continue to beat that old dead horse.

no, they didn't lie to me, they just didn't shut down the speculation. Me trying to read between the lines and extrapolate as much as I could from their response left me convinced they truly were doing something with Zen, and I just projected all that excitement onto the upcoming Scorpio. My posts from like 2016/2017 all support this same story. It hasn't changed, so I don't know why we're revisiting it, but we like to do things in cycles.
I can't doubt Sony? Same Sony who once told me I'd be getting dual 1080p 120fps from ps3 and talked like all ps3 games would be native 1080p because 720p was inferior. And then what happened? Can I call them liars? Companies market shit. They once talked about doing 2 cell processors with no GPU, and wanted people to believe it would have been amazing. Companies market shit.
