Nah, there’s just nothing really to talk about. Game looks amazing, I’m just waiting for release to play it on my PS5.

Unless we want to talk about starting house. I’m a giant nerd so, Ravenclaw. Seen enough Gryffindor and Slytherin from the movies.

I myself will be playing as ravenclaw. I always find them the happy medium.

Also i dont think i am particullary brave or some sort of supremacist so gryf and slyth are out.

Gamespot trans quota already dropping hints that they will destroy this game during the review window.

Some gaffer argued other vise when i mentioned something similar to this in the showcase thread.

This game will get 5 and 6s from every outlet with a trans employee. Mark my words.

I wish I could know how good the game is for sure, but fuck it anyway...I've pre ordered it for my daughter and I'll be playing just as much haha. Looks awesome, I just hope it doesn't end up being a good looking game in previews and actually a lemon.

One of reasons for playing Slytherin is because of this image both the films and the books got from them, besides 2 or 3 well know Slytherins.
Don't get me wrong, won't be playing as a happy to go all friendly player either, but it doesn't mean I will be the bad guy or evil.

it's a bit silly to buy a game twice but again it's their money so not sure why you're so upset about it. i've found myself buying a game twice. shit i just bought 3 games the other day and guess what? i already own them on another platform!

You can get all content on all platforms, it just may cost a little extra. It's not something that hasn't been done hundreds of times for other games such as CoD on whatever the platform was that got the marketing deal to make it appear like an exclusive even though it isn't.

I remember being so hyped for MH World in 2018 and being so pissed off that come to find out, there was no possible way to see Xbox one footage of the game prior to release because PS had the exclusive marketing agreement for pre-launch. It was so dumb. Literally the same identical game.

The were advertising it like you would get a pre-order mount and 72 hour early access.

They probably thought single player would be better for children since MMOs are so damn toxic.

The thing about the exclusive quests is that, sometimes, they really are exclusive. That happened with that game called Control. You have to hack the PC version to get exclusive quests and outfits.

The game does look pretty great, tho. Assuming the reviews validate what I have seen so far and it isn't secretly terrible or anything, I think we're in for a really great game.

Can you be a Harry Potter fan, support trans/gay rights, disagree with jk Rowling, support the avalanche devs, and still buy the game? Yes you can because I'm living proof.

Just cause you're a Harry Potter fan doesn't mean you're a bigot. I don't support kaynes views and subsequently I won't buy his music. I don't support jk Rowlings views but I'm mature enough to realize that Harry Potter has expanded outside of her creative control and that there is a whole raft of people working on this game that have nothing to do with her.

She will get money from this game. Boo hoo. Learn to separate the artist from the medium. Otherwise it means I shouldn't look at twitter, buy anything from Amazon or Walmart, completely eliminate goods made in China or India, use any sort of plastic product

In proper news reviewers hating on this is the best thing that can happen, it’s like they don’t get that actual gamers hate them so so so much already and will carry this to a 90+ on metacritic user rating.

That it pisses off ‘that crowd’ even more so we can hopefully have a combined lift up to 95%.

I'm just hoping there's enough difference between the houses to warrant multiple playthroughs. And honestly I almost hope the Sorting Hat chooses for you (I haven't done a ton of research into it so they might've already confirmed otherwise), would be more fun than just everybody choosing their favorite house imo
