Same as those only believing eXtas1s when the news is positive though. This doesn't pass the smell test to me. If this were true then Phil Spencer would be screaming it on a megaphone so if MS comes out and says it then good news, but otherwise......this deserves skepticism, imo.

If the PR machinery isn't at full force by now is because they are having a real bad time figuring out a way to spin whatever happened with BO6.

THis is the kind of rumour that should ruin this "insiders" account if they are talking shit. So which ever way this goes...It should be a positive.
Either the game has performed very well and is driving some serious "engagement" or this guy loses all credibility and can be ignored in the future.

Seems high but will be confirmed in the coming days either way.
I will say don't under estimate the shy contingent who want a good campaign and a good PvE mode for 'free' on their existing subscriptions. Helldivers 2 was an amazing success at retail purely because of PvE.

"Best performing" is not best sales. And obv more Xbox players are playing the game than Playstation gamers because it is a free download for 20+million on Xbox gamepass. More Xbox gamers are not buying the game, obv. Way less are because its on Gamepass
Also, the PC gamepass portion is the real number to watch out for. 50% is huge if true. That is what the concern was inside of Microsoft about putting it on Gamepass. That PC gamers would just get it for 10$ on Gamepass and then unsubscribe the next month
