I don't trust Metacritic scores so since it's not on Steam then PSN would be the next score I'll trust which also has Astro Bot as the highest this year among the PS5 exclusives

Stellar Blade - 4.83/5 from 63.0k customer reviews
Rebirth - 4.71/5 from 43.5k customer reviews
Rise of the Ronin - 4.20/5 from 18.0k reviews

Astro Bot is the highest rated and also seem to have good leg as it already has 32.3k reviews in it's short time. Stellar Blade also seem to have both a very high score and good leg with how many reviews it keeps getting. Rise of the Ronin would be the worse exclusive with the lowest rating as well as bad leg it seems as it's still have lower than 20k reviews.

I'm not sure I'd trust PSN either. I don't think I've ever seen less than three and a half stars (and less than four is extremely rare) for any game.
 
No complains from me. Its a great game and Sony needs more japanese games more than ever.

And thats why Its my GOTY 2024.
 
It wouldn't be my game of the year but it wouldn't bother me if it earned the award. It's a joyous experience.

1-5 system is rather bad especialy when there is no half points

Review totals aren't indicative of much. Stellar Blade has over 60k reviews and it's sold nowhere near what Rebirth has this year.

Never said anything about Stellar Blade selling more than Rebirth. Just that it had good leg as ever since their first over 1 million news, the review count keeps raking up at a very fast rate. And for Stellar Blade's budget to sells ratio, it's already better than Rebirth's sales from their budget to sales ratio. Both of these are among my favorite so don't really care which is better at the end anyway.
 
It's a good game.

I enjoyed the hard face button levels the most.

Music was 10/10.

The God of War level was more fun than the actual God of War game.

Pacing was a problem in the second half and I think the game would have been better if it was shorter.

The only thing that would have made it better is VR support.

It was enjoyable, finished it in 2 days, not thinking about it since.

I could try the speedrunning but i don't really see the appeal for this game in particular, i would have more pleasure doing it for other kind of plateformers.

It's more of a satisfying experience than an accomplished game to me (like most of Sony's games actually, there's this emphasis on feeling above design).
 
It's well-deserved and I hope that it continues to both score and sell well. The game was wonderful overall, though getting some of the speedrun bots and the final master bot were super annoying. Astro Bot is the second game that I have platinumed over the years.

I enjoyed the game VERY much, super fun game but also not a game I would comeback to, it doesn't really give you any reason to do so.
 
Incredibly deserved. Easily the best game of the year.

I bounced off this game when I had to start searching for those dudes in the levels I had already cleared, in order to progress.
Hate stuff like that.

I'll get my girlfriend to replay all the earlier levels for me so I can finish it at some point. She loves finding every item and secret in games like this.
