Tomb Raider official twitter account have posted a tweet that might be teasing the reveal of the next game which is in development with Unreal Engine 5 for quite a while.



Additionally the most popular Tomb Raider forum is hosting a watch party for the award ceremony. Is it finally happening?

They have announced the next game in April 2022 in Epic Games showcase as far as I can remember. Though part of the team is working on Perfect Dark, the majority of the team is still working on with the next Tomb Raider.

This game almost certainly IS ready for reveal. It has been in development for ages. I expect either second half of 2025 or first half of 2026 release.

The show is actually really good and whoever wrote that article is trying to rile you up........and it worked.
Yeah she doesnt have anime tits, but literally outside of anime how many animated characters do you know with anime tits?
They are common or even a thing really in western animations.

P.S Eidos/Crystal Dynamics has had Tomb Raider since forever.

Couldn't disagree more.
The writing is boring, the plot predictable, the characters flat, the locations not particularly detailed ... All in all, it's pretty hollow and soulless, it's like a 10am cartoon and has little to do with the Tomb Raider franchise.
I dropped out after 4 episodes because the show is just too trivial.

If that becomes the new direction of the game, I'm out.

I don't know what you mean by which one? The main Tomb Raider game is ready. Rumors out there also suggested it would be before Perfect Dark.

Yup, I don't think Perfect Dark is ready for 2025 while MS got Fable, Doom & Avowed ready to release next year. But Tomb Raider is very much possible for a Fall 2025 release!
