I think the cats are communicating. Got my li'l guy (a Bombay) a toy with lots of catnip buried deep inside and he plays with it a few times a day, then the neighbour's Savannah cat turns up and has a run at it, she's basically been visiting every 3-4hrs like clockwork now, head pops round the door, looks at me with shame in her eyes, then heads straight for her fix. Few days later, another neighbour's cat, then today another (they're all clean and friendly).
Might have to 'nip' this in the bud.`
They're each showing up every few hours, coming in through the cat flap, getting strung out on the floor for 20 mins, then leaving.
Turning into the neighbourhood feline drug dealer.

Did you know that water evaporates AT ROOM TEMPERATURE?
I noticed that the water level in my bong was slowly getting sliightly lower time and time again and decided to ask Gemini about it today. I thought it was hallucinating stuff so I double checked, yeah, fuck, water indeed does evaporate at room temp. This feels like something I should've been taught in first grade (I probably was and forgot). So in theory if you leave out a glass of water for like a couple of weeks, it apparently will just be gone. The water, not the glass, allthough apparently I know shit, so I'm 50/50 on the glass now.
I get the technical explanation of it, but I have a hard time accepting this. Feels like some major bullshit

there are a lot of factors but yeah water evaporates at room temperature.
think about this next time you get high: over long enough time the water will make the glass will disappear instead.

i seemed to discover a can collecting sub on reddit. these people collects cans of coke and such. not sure why it appeared to me. the sub is full of people crying that their cans are leaking, posts on how to prevent them leaking, and getting angry over people saying you should actually just drink the cans and display the empty cans.

This is actually how humans age and die. The water starts to evaporate from our bodies, and we begin to look all wrinkled, and then eventually we look like beef jerky mummies.
You can actually apply Vaseline all over your body to prevent the evaporation and thus beat aging.

So many YouTube channels have become unwatchable, I'm 5 minutes into a 25 minute video on there and there's been 148 quick cuts or zoom cuts, that's basically averaging one every two seconds. On top of that, multiple channel hosts have gotten more and more overly-animated and exaggerated. Between that and the absurd amount of cuts, cut zooms and camera whips, it's all just too much. I've unsubbed from a few channels in the last few months cause folks I used to enjoy have just become fatiguing.
I've really come to appreciate the folks who just plonk a camera down and do their thing in the most low key way possible.
There really seems to be an issue of creeping overproduction and all of this stuff being perceived as part of good production as they progress and get more successful. For me it just gets more annoying.

To be honest - I don't know
Always bugged me as a kid that puddles dried up but water supposedly only became vapour at 100 degrees.
Someone at MIT figured out that light can break the bonds in water and that’s what’s causing it to change from liquid to gas, not heat. I think it was green light at a 45 degree angle to the water that works best. I don’t think anyone has made a practical use of their findings yet.
