Please genuinely let me know how it is. If it's not that bad I will maybe buy the game in a year or so for 15e.
But what I saw and read is very, very bad. The loot is so unbalanced, you can end up with 3K wood and yet have less than 20 metal. The bosses are also weirdly balanced as the difficulty can have quite violent spikes if you don't farm enough after 50% of the game.

I'll make a note to ping you. I would be a bit wary of things read about this game due to the other controversies, but I understand the concern.
I agree with that. I don't think they will get out of it overnight even if Shadows does as well as Valhalla. If it does do as well as Valhalla they perhaps earn a chance to claw their way out of it eventually.
The company has about 15,000 too many employees for what it's actually producing that's worthwhile. Not a particularly easy problem to solve in a hurry.

I actually had to go looking for the store/battle pass thing. Only bit that was "intrusive" was when it flashed up I got 300 helix credits which it's done for years.

The game is more dumb than woke. I mean I find laughable that people that had suffer over several iterations of this mediocre series are now complaining that the writing is this and that. Surely all those hardcore gamers are very fond of playing a “follow the map tack” game at 23fps in 2007. Happy to see a continental European company survive its darkest times but I hope they’ve learned some lessons in quality, game design and employees management. But I have doubts…

I dont think it really had steam. Just a lot of noise. Look at Monster Hunter Wilds. In that game the main story has a tranny and buffed masculine chick. Also, as a dude you can wear a dress if you want.
They didn’t target that game because they would’ve lost too many followers, affecting their payouts.

There’s nothing woke or gay in the main canon story. You actually have to turn off canon mode and actually work to unlock that stuff. It’s not in the game 99% of people will see.
There’s more woke gay stuff in the Mass Effect games or even KCD2.

2 million would be impressive if it was copies sold and the game had AA budget. Since neither is the case, I still expect Ubisoft to wax poetic in few months about how the game underperformed. Yet another one to the pile of Avatar, Outlaws, Skull and Bones, XDefiant, Division Heartland (that one got aborted before being born just to be sure). Mass Effect 3 has a similar option where the game can choose canon options for you and you don't need to.
