Diablo IV |OT| Blessed Mother... Save Us

Yeah, I can see that for sure! Good thing is several folks in this thread are active when new seasons launch so you can get some good community games. Season 7 did drag on for a bit...hopefully we will get another bump and some more activity with the next season.

The few objectives to get me the final push are 3 from:

2 Roothold Legendary choices
750 aether in hordes (randoms has been frustrating)
10 helltide chests in one helltide
Kill 250 before hellborne spawns
25 roots in 15 minutes (again frustrating)

What time do you intend to be online today? I can help.

I did think that their ladder stuff and leaderboard upgrade/refresh would have been this year. Wonder what IP they are going to collaborate with in Sep-Dec...

This is Blizz's time to shine honestly. Community is kind of upset still with PoE 2's gameplay, loot, etc. And I'm going to be in the minority and I used to really enjoy this game but, Last Epoch is not very good either to me. The skill system is sweet but it just looks so bad. I can't get into the artstyle at all. And just not as satisfying kill effects and things like that imo.

D4 could be amazing if another developer took over.

No Rest for the Wicked has a big update out at end of month and it looks really good, I know I'm gonna play the shit out of it.

It seems to me that the honeymoon is over for PoE2, and repeating D4: praises during the campaign, good gameplay pacing, but then on endgame it's complaints from everywhere. Devs try to please everyone and "nothing works".
D4 got a season or two right but pace now is so fast that in a week or 2 everybody got every item and is bored. Spiral repeats.

That is why D4 needs leaderboards, preferably for more than one mode, and D3 style rifts with easy, quick matchmaking. Also, add some higher difficulty levels.

Did you try out Last Epoc yet? I spent some time with it when 1.0 came out and their next "feature" update landed this week. Might give it a whirl this weekend.

I think it's interesting that Lurkin is going to host, because he's stated how underwhelming the Season 8 PTR was. He's a really good build maker and knows the game very well, and I agree with a lot of his points about what the game currently lacks and what it could use to improve. I hope that the devs have shown him something to be hopeful about that encouraged him. Hopium +1

Ouch...that sounds rough.

Maybe this will FINALLY be the season of the druid...(it won't be)

sorc

The new unique was kinda meh in the PTR but if it stays the same, sorc will actually be pretty strong with the boss powers. Andariel's support power gives a ridiculous amount of burning damage, and Sorc's key passive is still one of the few passives that isn't capped yet, so you can scale burning quite a lot.
