What's a life expectancy of a GAFFER and who's been here the longest?

Was just looking at the historic threads thread and it hit me how strict the modding is here (not complaining). Most old threads are graveyards of banned users!

Who's managed to last the longest? Is this place like a Prison, who's the Morgan Freeman here?

it would be interesting to see a chart that compares number of posts to "lifetime" on gaf.

stating the average lifespan by time would be inaccurate since some posters are far older, but have posted far less.
 
I think I've been around since 2000, I remember us being on EZBoards for a short while, not sure how long ago that was. I've only been banned once, and it was because I got a 50 Cent CD early in high school & was mistakenly thought to have pirated it, heh.
 
I can't really remember when I got approved, but I think it was 2002. And no bans, because I never post/am boring as fuck.
 
Been here since 2004. Just banned once for the first time this year.

I was proud of my no-ban record, though. Drank a beer with Evilore to "celebrate" it and everything. :(

I intentionally did not due member #1 because that date isn't the correct date - and neither is the one I posted, obviously, which was meant to point out something funny.

It's 2000, according to Wikipedia, but 2002 sounds good.
 
7 years, 0 bans, but I'm platform agnostic and rarely take sides with anything enough to have an opinion worth fighting over. Also, I'm mostly ignored, which is funny, considering how connected I am. Well, that's more a gaming thread thing.
 
Also, I used to be a member around 1999 when I was at university, this site was part of the gaming age website, but can't remember my log in. I was new to the net and so excited! Free net access at uni was a revelation!

Where do you draw the line between the forums of Gaming Age and NeoGAF? Technically some founding Gaming-Age staff would have been the first on the forums too. I don't even know what kind of a site Gaming-Age is or was.

Pretty sure I found this place from a Videogame Website links on IGN in 1998. Was banned once for like a week or two in 2006 for making an off hand remark. I had been drinking of course. People say stupid shit they don't mean when drunk.
