if its not Fashion Killa (pop radio) or PMW (black radio) somebody should slap him.

idk how you could work around PMW's hook other than some creative scratches/skips though.

I'm feeling the album.

Liked his mixtape but wasn't a huge ASAP fan. I can see this album getting some replay value from me.

True, I remember I got a club to play ASAP's Kissin' Pink...shit was hilarious. Everyone was confused...then started to feel it and the air changed literally...

I feel weird writing this but I agree 100% with this now that I've finished the album.

This album is dope as fuck. The production came correct. Rocky surprised me and put out something not only different from what he's done before, but still characteristically Rocky. Dude is evolving as an artist, trying to prevent stagnation from the start, and I think that's a beautiful thing.

After the first listen, I fucks with this album hard. Though I might actually favour the first half because of that Q. Plus I like Hell as well, even though I usually don't like Santigold. Rocky has never been about the lyrics, but I gotta go back and go over some of these songs to see if he's improved there as well. It's just been too good of a vibe and flow all the way through for me to pay attention. Ghetto Symphony has a dope Rocky verse though.

Yeah I was just thinking, damn, both Kendrick and Rocky delivered. This is a good look for hip-hop right now. Was worried about both, moreso Rocky because I simply think he's okay with some standout tracks in the past, and that he's HEAVILY dependent on production. But now I can't say much because dude still has an ear for great beats, and not same sounding ones either.

Meek too. That's what i was saying earlier, I'm surprised how much I been liking the last 3 debut albums.

It's not bad. I enjoyed it, it just didn't do that much for me the first time through. I have had albums that have taken years to grow on me, so I'm continue to listen to this.

Meek was a surprise for sure, even made my tentative Top 10 and I wasn't checking for dude at ALL before D&N dropped.

Agreed, Rocky definitely came through with this album. As I listen more I appreciate it more. Most of the songs are really damn solid with only Ferg's verse, Fashion Killa and that Skrillex being the low points. That's a pretty damn amazing dope to wack ratio for a first album.

Kendrick delivered like no other, his album is just...damn.

skrillex track is pretty bad. should've been a single so i could've ignored it.

rest of the album seemed pretty tight on first listen.

Actually not a bad idea but I'm gonna add it either behind or after Fashion Killa, eh it doesn't flow...Might end up taking off Fashion Killa as well.

if he put all those old songs on there people would be bitching to no end.

only way you can get away with that is for there to be a noticeable difference in the mastering like the recycled tracks on Finally Rich.

V skrillex is definitely teh suck.

The Q Track is my favorite. Like the entire album allthough it somehow doesn't feel complete to me.
