For those still in progress of playing the game, please be forwarned that there'll be spoilers posted in here ^_^;

Just beat the game a few minutes ago
That ending made me cry ;.; ...and why did it have to end like a cliffhanger?!
All in all a really good PnC Adventure game, even though it was more 'compressed' than how most PnC type games are in terms of exploration.
I liked the 'choice' concept the game went with but I really wish choices had more of an impact instead of how characters react to you.

As such Season 2 should really make it so your actions will effect the characters you're with on whether they die or not (or maybe even WHEN).

I played this on the PS3 and it is Telltale's best port to the system so far, some of their previous games had some annoying frame rate issues =_=. Speaking of which I've only ever encountered 1 frame drop and it was in Ep. 5, but nothing too game breaking.

Really feel like replaying it again in the near future mainly to see how things would progress knowing the outcome of each episode.

One more thing about Ep. 5
the boat being stolen is really similar to how Kenny and co. robbed the car at the end of Ep. 2, freaking karma lol.

Last thing I want to add is that Telltale better not fuck up the saving with the PC ver., I personally feel that the game is deserving of a GotY title but the PC issue is IMO something it shouldn't be given because of it.

Looking forward to Season 2, which I sincerely hope will acknowledge all the stuff I've done throughout Season 1. (Bonus points if the Season Pass is available during a US PS Store promo like the current one XP)

Im going to pick this up today for the PS3. Anything I should know beforehand?

Just be careful when reading up about the game on GAF to avoid any spoilers.
I personally played the game one ep. per day, I would advise playing like I did to avoid being burned out or such ^_^;
Oh and the game is pretty much a guaranteed Platinum if you play it til the end.

don't expect a choose your own adventure. you will be playing telltale's story.
in this framing, you will appreciate how your choices affect the characters more as you progress.

et enjoy!

Ok will do. What about console crashes and deleted save games that Ive read can occur? Did this happen to anyone? Is is something I should be wary of?

There are only save issues in the PC ver., I've not had any problems when playing the PS3 ver. ...and as I wrote this is Telltale's best performing game on the PS3 along with StrongBad.

i enjoyed this game. played on ps3. don't think it deserves any goty awards... thought it was really overrated. don't like the condensed adventure aspect. game really didnt do anything for me until the last eps...

good game? yeah... great? not at all.

I liked it well enough. I'm not a big adventure game fan and felt that the gameplay was a little slow here and there. Still, a really good story and some nice pacing/VA kept me going. I was disappointed though to read that a lot of your choices don't seem to 'matter' that much.

I gotta admit I had some misty eyes at that ending scene.

Whoa really? I played on PS3 too and it was a disaster. Tons of skipping and odd stuttering. If this was their best port then jesus, I'd hate to see the others.

Great game, the framerate problems with the PS3 version at least are terrible and inexcusable. I actually missed some dialogue choices because the framerate was skipping so much.

There have been save issues on all of the versions. PC and 360 seem to have the worst of it though.

It's the sole reason I haven't finished the game on my xbox. Save corrupted about 3/4 of the way through Ch. 5.

I must have a magical PS3 then lol.
Frame rate was smooth and there was no skipping or stuttering. This was the case BEFORE my PS3 prompted me to update it. tHE UPdate fixed what seemed to be an issue with the save data in Ep. 5, and even after it the game ran really well.

Great game and love the trophies.

I didn't have issues with saves or framerate, the scene skipping/stuttering happened after the button prompts.

Dont tell me the PS3 version is broken!!!. I just dropped 50 bucks on a US import copy of the game dammit

I played the digital ver. and it was fine, dunno about disc ver. though ^_^;
...and couldn't you have gotten it during the recent sale on US PSN?

Still to play this, got it from the store a few weeks ago. Will get round to playing it once my backlog is finished

I avoid digital like the plague. I like boxes and discs, I'm dumb lol
