The dev is on Miiverse, actively checking the community and posting a lot. Post about it, he's looking for feedback to implement in the first update. Yesterday, someone from Portugal also complained that his game was in Spanish because his system is set to Portuguese but he wanted to play in English. Let the dev know! NNID: unepic

Thanks, I'll do that! :)

Etrian Odyssey millennium girl worth 20 bucks if I played EO4? About the same or worse? I don't care at all about the story, will skip every scene and will play in classic mode. Worth it?

Edit: totally forgot they had a demo

It's definitely worth playing for $20. It's about the same level of quality, although I do like EOIV a bit more because it feels more open and has more variety.

EOU's 3D models do look slightly better.

I haven't played Millennium Girl, but 1 (which it's a remake of) actually does have a decent story element, far more so than any other entry in the series, so it may be a good idea not to glaze over it entirely.

haven't played EO4 or Millenium Girl (yet), but I did play EO1 and it was well worth the ~12€ I payed back than. I wonder if immunize is still broken in the remake...
It made the game way more manageable for beginners.

I actually thought it was better than EO4. I breezed through EO4, but Millennium Girl offered much more of a challenge. I still haven't beat the post-game boss and probably won't at this point.

If you don't mind, pure exploration with no over world like EO4, then go for it. I'd recommend playing story mode first because it gives you access to some extra dungeons that aren't in classic mode.

Sweeeeet! Thanks for the info everyone. I'll go ahead a give it a purchase. Extra content in Story mode kinda blows, but oh well. Much appreciation to my fellow gaf brethren.

So we will go a year from the announcement of both N64 and GBA emulation for Wii U without another word about it.

:/

Immunize got fixed in the remake to work like it was supposed to. Now it's got a "picnic" difficulty setting so beginners won't get too frustrated.

They were announced at the end of April last year. There's still plenty of time for your statement to be disproven.
GBA was announced in the January Direct. It and N64 were reaffirmed in April but since then we've heard zip.

I'm growing restless, here. I need my GBA games!!!

Ah you're right. I was thinking they were announced together for some reason.

Since there was some random talk about EO:Untold in here anyway, I may as well ask it here because it doesn't feel like it's worth a new thread: Does the general rule of thumb that's applied to Atlus games for a while, IE "preorder bonuses" are first print bonuses, and all prints are probably still "first print" apply here? I was considering just picking it up on Amazon, and was wondering if it would still come with the bonuses or not.

Wants the largest console games publisher to avoid Nintendo's platforms.
F-Zero deserves an HD remaster.

One that doesn't cost $50.
We'll see another wipeout installment before we see another f-zero. I'm counting on f.a.s.t. neo, though.

Probably. Haven't seen anything of a second print yet and all stores that mention it still sell it with the bonuses. I guess if you get it without them, you can still return it.

Every new game gets a community, don't they? Anyway, I don't own a European 3DS, so I only look at the WiiU part of the update. Brilliant Hamsters is gonna be brilliant, I'm sure.

Oh wait, I forgot to moan about the lack of Pokémon Bank.

Though that became less funny once I saw people genuinely calling Nintendo racist.

(There's actually an extended maintenence due this week, right?)

More like Satisfied Hamsters!

Pretty sure this game was a full price retail release in Japan.

Edit: Yep, it was.

I hope they just left out the Virtual Console games in the press relase because they are going to surprise us with Game Boy Advance games in a Nintendo Direct! :p
Why am I doing this to myself?

I might finally pull the trigger on Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams!

How will Nintendo respond to the reported lacklustre sales of the Wii U?

By doing sweet fuck all on the eShop this week it seems.

Stay that course.

I've just read in a review that there is an audio issue with off-tv play in Giana Sisters. Was it ever patched?

Well, the investor meeting is on Thursday...

Though Japan is getting four VC titles this week confirmed.

Every new game, yup, but not VC titles for some reason (not all of them, at the very least).

Yup, but there wasn't one before Pokémon Bank came back on the JP eShop so it doesn't mean much.

Pretty meh week, but at least there's some decent sales!

So Giana Sisters and Spin the Bottle for me.The latter one is just a nice price even I won't play this game very often.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Dont get why they dont offer a MH3U bundle with both version for 40€ or so.

last MH sale was better 30 for wiiu version and 20 for 3ds. I already own mh3u on 3ds but wanting to double dip at 20. looks like i have to wait a bit longer.
