2013 Feb NBA Season lOT| Controlling it like a man, bruh

Flacco's playoff stats are actually pretty bad other than this year.

I think he just got lucky.

gotta go by eye test for these things

He looked really good and should have been in the superbowl and his throws in this game were all crazy on point other than that long ball to Smith that almost got picked.

Also the Wizards cannot win games without Wall and Beal on the floor. Beal can't do anything without Wall because nobody can create, and Wall struggles to really do much without a smart perimeter option like Beal.

Hopefully Beal sits out another few weeks so we can still make a run at Nerlens and Shabazz.

I hate Wacko Flacco as much as anybody, but he did work in these playoffs. And not that Eli style "I'mma just suck and get lucky as fuck." type of work either.

2011 Eli Regular Season Stats:

4933 yds, 61% cmp, 29 td, 16ints. Eli sucking that year was a myth. He carried a mediocre rushing attack in the superbowl season.

Get the fuck out of here with that Eli sucks bullshit.

Congrats on being #1

Lakers-age!
heh

That standings list is pretty good. The only team I see being bumped are the Celtics. Crazy hair Bynum is going to take Philly to the playoffs.

Trading Humphries for Hedo would actually be a pretty good move for the Nets. Would clear up cap space for next offseason.

Would be a disaster for Orlando. Not the kind of move they should be making, taking away playing time from younger guys for absolutely no reason.

Cap space aside. Nets dont need a shitty point-forward right now.

Need some more toughness on that frontline.

Rob likely wouldn't take a straight up deal, would need Brooks or a future second rounder thrown in

Remember when I said Kyrie wouldn't start in the ASG?

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/225946/Spoelstra-Hints-Toward-Starting-Bosh-In-All-Star-Game

After clinching head coach of the Eastern Conference All-Stars, Erik Spoelstra hinted on Sunday that he may put Chris Bosh in the team's starting lineup in place of the injured Rajon Rondo.

"I've only given this thought for the last nine minutes," Spoelstra said. "But I will tell you this, unequivocally, that my loyalties are first and foremost always with the Miami Heat."

A torn ACL knocked Rondo out for the season.

Bosh was selected to the All-Star team as a reserve.

Bitch move. That game's for the fans, dickhead.

It's NBA politics. Even if Woodson was the coach, he'd have started Jrue or George. He wouldn't want to piss off guys he might face in the playoffs lol

Spoelstra will start his guy cos that makes his life easier. Wade/Bron can play point..

I thought you were a big Kobe fan?

When was the last time anyone scored 30 on Kobe? And don't give me this crap about how Metta only checks stars. They always go way over their average when we play them. Shit, even Beasley destroyed him the other night

PS: Kobe can make horrendous shots so he has a right to take some lol

CJ Miles and Arron Afflalo destroyed Kobe this year

but you'll say Metta was guarding them

So...has diehard already covered how the Celtics have been playing their most impressive games since Rondo went down?

I wouldn't call beating the Kings, Magic, and Clippers (sans Paul) "impressive".

If the Clippers trade Bledsoe and Butler for KG, I think I'm done with the team. That would be among the worst and dumbest trades I could think of. Their position needs right now are in this order: 1. Shooting/Point Guard (since CP3 and Billups are still out and likely will be out for a while longer) 2. Small Forward 3. Center and a distant 4. Power Forward

Pierce would make more sense, but even then I wouldn't give up a guard when we only have 3 healthy guards on the entire team, one of which is absolutely terrible at everything.

Neither was being 20-23 in the East.

the Heat is in that group also.

The Heat have lost to the Wizards, Pistons and Blazers and those wins didn't take Double-OT. Plus, I've seen the Blazers win far too many games when a key player goes down on the same night. Like I said, not impressed.

Yeah I just don't understand a KG trade, especially one that involves Bledsoe and Butler. Not that I think KG is bad by any means, but he's just kind of redundant when you have Odom/Barnes/Griffin. Yes, he's better than Odom/Barnes but I feel like the upgrade there wouldn't be worth the loss of PG depth.

eh PG depth is important but KG makes them more competitive. No matter what though, they aren't going anywhere unless CP is 100% healthy, that's for damn sure.

And assuming he's in 100% form, having KG will only increase their odds at chipping...the guy is a champ and a competitor. And his D is still some of the best in the NBA.

I'm not sure how the line ups would work...I'm guessing KG at center maybe? It makes them better but there are probably better moves they could make. And Boston would dumb to take that back, I'm sure they could get something better.

Looking at the February schedule, it looks like a great month of tanking.

I know deep down that we're going to get the 4th pick in a quasi-three pick draft. :(

None of this changes the fact that Rondo is the most overrated player in the league.
