Almost 30 minutes of Star Wars Outlaws 4K gameplay demo

I love Star Wars so so much.
Man this looks so bland and boring. Gunplay looks so stale.

Will grab on sale cause i'm a Star Wars fan and should probably give it a try.
 
I dont see anything new in the video. And they play exactly the same as everyone else, as if they were instructed to do so which is kinda bs, for example at 23:15 everyone starts shooting here, in all the "previews". Im still in, but these previews are just yikes. Also it kinda takes me out when I see this skinny ass bitch one punching everyone lmao. Like cmon...

This, Shadows, and the new Dragon Age all have this clunk to them that I hope isn't in the final game. Graphics and UI look good as you would expect from Ubisoft, but I worry about the bloat and the dialogue.

This is the problem Ubisoft know how to make games look good or intresting in trailers but then you get them and it's just exactly the same.

I made the same mistake with Avatar, it was just the worse Farcry Primal. Never again, not with their pricing.

The aesthetics look neat, specially on that imperial base.

The gameplay looks meh. Lots of holding forward and nothing else, a cutscene, walk some more, scripted sequence, shoot for a while... the usual.

Visuals are really good

Mechanically tho, it's so simple and passable. Plays like a Watch_dogs game, but simpler and boring.
 
Looks fun enough, but I can do without the distract mechanic. How many times would you really be able to use that? Couldn't the Empire just put out a communiqué or some shit and say, "Hey, morons, stop falling for the little lizard crap and blast the shit out of her"? I'm clearly overthinking this.
 
Graphics are great - the gameplay kinda worried me. Not being able to use the force or a lightsaber makes the climbing and combat seem kinda generic

I disagree. The shooting/cover based gameplay here looks mind-numbly boring. Actually, nothing about this game has stood out yet.

Meanwhile, Shadows looks like it'll be the best AC in the franchise in terms of gameplay. Those new stealth mechanics look like solid B+ effort.

this knockout is unacceptable, just like the one with the 'zipline with naked hands' in the first trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn.

''realistic games'' the characters can fly but if they flies on a board they needs to have propulsion. The same goes for that slap, impossible, if it were a 'Locust' I would accept it, this is unacceptable.

Needs another year in the oven imo. Everything looks like an Uncharted game but not even on par with the first Uncharted from 2007, it's lacking all the high quality animations and action set pieces, and they have a standard main protagonist who talk to much to herself but without any humour, and she's supposed to be a Han Solo clone.
 
I was very disappointed by the gameplay in Avatar and this looks like it has the same issues. Massive is a talented studio but Division games were just not fun for me, and so far these two single player games they've done have left a lot to be desired.

Lets hope they continue to get better. Practice makes perfect. I will be picking this game up to support ubisoft still investing in single player IPs.

I gotta be honest: I don't mind it ('cause it's a video game), but simultaneously, I "do" mind it, because even guys in the movies would hit a soldier with a gun. Even Han Solo or Luke or even John Boyega when fighting Brienne Of Tar would use a weapon to hit a Storm trooper who wears a freakin' helmet.
This a regular-sized women smackin' a dude upside the head who's wearing a helmet on his head.
Something about this game and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle just doesn't sit right with me. Both Lucasfilm/LucasArts properties too.

Attention to detail/polish. Maybe they'll add her drawing the blaster or using some sort of baton before final.

Haven't played Avatar yet, Steam release next week, but it looks 10 times more interesting than this Star Wars Uncharted-clone thing.
This lacks so much animation polish. It's an Ubisoft game, I know Massive isn't doing any Assassin's Creed but they should have access to some animations, shouldn't they?
And a studio trying to do a Naughty Dog game has to realize that everybody will compare it to a Naughty Dog game. And most will look bad, it's just how it is.

The divisions are much better than avatar that it's not even funny.

I have no idea how the ia and gunplay look so shit in this one.
 
Stop acting like boring games aren't fun, you guys act like you don't drop 50 hours farming runes in elder scrolls or mining minerals on fake planets in star field. We knew Star Wars Jedi survivor was amazing, now a true open world Star Wars game is coming out and I think because it's not named Kotor people are pissed.

I think the game looks fun, but you have to suspend all reality because it is star wars, ubisoft. I mean I have climbed a lot of towers and never had a map reveal.
