An object "the size of a small car" has been shot down over Alaska. Confirmed by Pentagon.

2) Space aliens have decided right here right now to suddenly send craft/probes en masse to spy on the human race. Oh and these aliens possess the power of interstellar travel, but are also somehow in the possession of technology so crude that it can be easily spotted by humanity who can barely get a crew of 3 to the Moon and that can be shot down by an aircraft that was made in 1978 with a weapons system that was originally designed in 1953.
Yeah I was thinking the same. They travelled all this way to Earth and then:
1) decided to move super slowly so that even our jets can target them and
2) decided to enter the airspace of one of the most militarized country in the world

Also seeing a lot of folks on Twitter saying the whole UFO story is a distraction so that nobody talks about the massive chemical explosion thing in Ohio.

They won't confirm they are Chinese balloons. Tensions are already high enough as it is. They are shooting them down as a show of force and capability. You also won't see China claim them because they won't want to admit that A) They are implementing the widespread use of spy balloons in foreign territories and B) they won't want to admit that these balloons are so poorly made and crude that they are so easily spotted and destroyed by a rival power. We literally shot down a Chinese spy balloon just the other day on live TV basically.

Let me put it this way. Which is more likely?

1) That these are just more spy balloons and/or drones that have been found and destroyed now that NORAD knows what to look for and that the US and China both don't want to make anything official though in order to avoid raising tensions even higher.

OR

Do you need the government to come out publicly and tell you "Hey guys its not aliens."?

Really?
You realize the Pentagon has already released multiple videos of confirmed UFO’s captured by air force pilots accelerating and doing maneuvers that are beyond the capabilities of anything known to man? And with no propulsion system seen to boot. Jet planes produce extreme exhaust temperatures clearly seen on radar. In those videos, those readings were shockingly absent.

So when our government is saying “hey look! Here’s footage of otherworldly craft beyond our militaristic capabilities! We have no idea what they or who’s piloting them.”

I think we should all be interested when they’re again saying these things are occupying our airspace and they’ve actually shot one or two of them down.

Really?

Like far out man, you're ruining the mood here.

I reckon the twist is that it's some hardcore viral marketing campaign for the sequel to Signs. We're on the cusp of Mel Gibson's redemption arc.

Lol, someone hasn't seen the footage.

There's like 3 or 4 official videos.

And then Joe Rogan has a couple podcast episodes with a few of the pilots who actually saw them.
I've seen the footage. I just think its either advanced technology by a foreign power being caught on film or the government pushing the classic UFO nonsense in order to provide cover for their own covert testing.

Just like they have for literal decades.

These were spotted by UFO conspiracy theorists and ordinary citizens during their years of testing. People were reporting "flying triangles" in the sky in and around the bases on which these planes were tested. Including places like Wright-Patterson AFB and "Area-51" which all the usual crazies think are the hub for aliens and whatnot. For literal years these reports were sent to the government and the government just shrugged its shoulders and labeled them as "unidentified flying objects" because it provided the PERFECT cover for their own covert testing. Why admit what it really is when you could just shrug your shoulders and keep testing your shit in broad daylight and just have the people think its aliens?

As if the most highly funded military industrial complex on the planet is just completely incapable of detecting, tracking, and recording an aircraft that basic citizens on the street can look up into the sky and see. If the government is coming out and openly saying "Here's this weird shit that we saw. We couldn't really track it. We can't really explain it. And aw shucks guys we were just completely outclassed" then that is the story that they want you to know. Its what they want to to share. Because no government on this little blue ball is going to come out and openly admit their complete ineptitude to track foreign objects within their own airspace let alone the "most powerful military on the planet" from the "greatest country in the world" where they have a military budget so large that it could possibly solve world hunger a few times over every year.

Any extraterrestrial civilization that has in its possession the knowledge to conquer interstellar travel passing by earth would be like how we might walk past an ant hill on a hike. They would not even notice us let alone give a single damn about us or how we work. And even if they DID they sure as shit are not using technology that we as relative primitives would just casually shoot down repeatedly over Super Bowl weekend.

Wokeism has pervaded even the highest levels of our government. Isn't one of the joint chiefs of staff a transgender and wears a dress? They care more about using the correct pronouns than sabre rattling and showing off how erect they are to other countries. They're ashamed to even be erect; they'd rather cut off their own genitals. So in my opinion, yes, if this government is coming out and saying we aren't actually the most powerful force on the planet and showing a little humility by admitting they have no idea WTF these objects are and they could actually be aliens, I'm actually inclined to believe them.

Most of the footage I have seen looks like an artifact or a Seagal and the camera is shaking. I'm not joking. There was a huge UFO video and it turned out to be a bird and since the camera was shaking a little they thought it was a spaceship zipping around.

I’m saying our government officials are a bunch of pussies taking estrogen led by a guy with dementia so why the fuck should they care about appearing powerful to other nations? Your argument is we are the most powerful force on the planet so they would never openly admit to there being aliens with superior technology. I’m putting doubt in that argument or can you not read?

Lmao yes a foreign power has invented a capability for flight without propulsion, and something that far outflies any known jet fighter.

😂😂😂 stay crazy my guy

'advanced tech' lol its tech so far beyond anything humankind can build 😂😂😂

We let China fly a known spy balloon around the country over our military bases for days completely unopposed because our commander in chief was too afraid to upset them. But here they immediately shoot down multiple foreign “objects” without hesitation. Do you really think if these were enemy craft we would do that? Come on man, just think.

If it comes out in the next few days that these things we shot down were Chinese or Russian, and god forbid, they were piloted and there was loss of life, things are going to escalate like we haven’t seen before. This could very well throw us into war.

Come on guys. Your desire for it to be aliens is clouding your judgement. You sound like religious whackjobs.

"We don't know what it is therefore it must be aliens!!"
Sounds exactly like
"We don't know what it is therefore it must be God's work!"

Surely the most logical thing to do would be to say either:
1) the government really doesn't know what it is (which still doesn't mean it's an alien UFO)
or
2) the government does know what it is but is playing dumb (which still doesn't mean it's an alien UFO)

We let china fly a balloon around because we already let china fly advanced spy satellites over the same installations. The Chinese also allows us to do the same because surveillance is covered under a UN treaty on the acceptable uses of space. The value a balloon provides over a satellite is marginal. shooting down an object the size of a bus over land risks life and property while limiting the ability to recover anything meaningful.

The US has shifted into interception mode for both political and practical reasons. Politically, the republican party wants to paint Biden as weak. Shooting down any unauthorized objects closes that argument. Shooting down drones without identifying their origin or specifications tells the owners of the aircraft to fuck off while offering an avenue for diplomacy.

Interesting how China flipped out when the balloon was taken out, but hasn't said anything about the other objects recently shot down.

It seems like China is observing how we respond to these low tech probes, to random objects in our airspace - because they can already use satellites to far greater effect.

Yeah its almost like they don't want to be further embarrassed and feel the need to posture and raise political tensions higher than they already are.

This could just as well be the US govt showing they still have air superiority in their own airspace. Though I’m not sure this will reassure the population as much as it will panic them.

We don’t know what capabilities that ballon had yet. If it was marginal benefit, why would China go out of its way to send a balloon over here? They’ve been report in multiple other nations as well over going back a number of years. Clearly, there is some benefit over satellite, enough so that they are willing to risk a fallout like we are currently seeing.

America knows what military balloons do because it already researched the technology quite extensively. Balloons aren't a new concept. China's benefit is to see how US would react to violations of its airspace while maintaining plausible deniability.

This makes 4. Again, they are being cheeky about what they are shooting down.

Asked whether he had ruled out extraterrestrials, VanHerck said: “I’ll let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out. I haven’t ruled out anything.”

They are shooting down what they put up there themselves to distract the people and the media from other things

Oh we’ve shot down Chinese balloons before and know exactly what technology they keep on board? When did we do this because as you know technology is constantly evolving. They could have new sensors on board, some that we have no idea about. Hell, there are UFO’s that have technology beyond our understanding and capability based on the maneuvers we have captured them performing. If those aircraft are truly Chinese, then their level of tech is well beyond the untied states so who knows what kind of tech could be on board those balloons.

The Chinese are bound by the same laws of physics as anybody else. What new sensors would you put in a balloon that you couldn't put in something smaller or more clandestine? The videos are not conclusive of anything. Its more likely ewar or other interference than aliens.

I don't believe these things are aliens, although oddly the US government refuses to rule this out? It would be cool if they were some sort of alien drone device, but I very much doubt it.

When the first one we spotted earlier this month, the US gov straight away identified it as a Chinese spy balloon. However, they haven't said anything about the latest ones at all.

Do they know they're from China, but don't want to cause further tensions? That would be odd because China would appear to be going along with it as well. Alternatively, could they be spy devices from another country, which is why the US hasn't said what they are yet?

Regardless, very interesting developments.

Let me put it this way. Which is more likely?

1) That these are just more spy balloons and/or drones that have been found and destroyed now that NORAD knows what to look for and that the US and China both don't want to make anything official though in order to avoid raising tensions even higher.

OR

2) Space aliens have decided right here right now to suddenly send craft/probes en masse to spy on the human race. Oh and these aliens possess the power of interstellar travel, but are also somehow in the possession of technology so crude that it can be easily spotted by humanity who can barely get a crew of 3 to the Moon and that can be shot down by an aircraft that was made in 1978 with a weapons system that was originally designed in 1953.

Do you need the government to come out publicly and tell you "Hey guys its not aliens."?

AFAIK, nobody has seen any pictures of the other objects yet.
