Android |OT7| Now With a Whole New Messaging System

Because peak brightness varies too much (on mobile especially), and the UHD alliance spec for mobile has literally only been ratified for about three weeks so not all the implementations are consistent yet.

And yes, it also requires per device DRM assessment.

This won't unusual at this point in a new at standard. HLS was much more fragmented for its first year, you literally found implementations for some handsets caused others to hard lock.

Oh wow, didn't know that. Wouldn't the per device DRM be a pain in the ass and probably takes forever to get that certified to certain phones?

So my question is, is there really any benefit anymore to stock Android vs just disabling and deleting bloat and running Nova prime?

My G6 is smooth as butter so I don't really see how there could be a noticeable improvement. Looks like stock, feels like stock. What's the difference?

You might get major OS updates quicker than from the manufacturers with a skin.

Got a 755MB update for my Optus Huawei Mate 9.

Change log just said "security updates" and "update now," but I have noticed a few UI changes, so it would be nice to find a list somewhere.

New version is MHA-L09C34B170

Anyone have tips for selling a water damaged pixel phone? Does it generally make more sense to sell the entire unit than selling individual parts (which may or may not work because of water damage)?

What browsers do you guys use on android and Why ?

Looking for something Solid and Clean :)

I use the Lightning Browser only. Love the UI and it is blocking ads.

Anyone actually like that everyone on the same network can control Chromecast?

Chrome cause using something that doesn't have cloud browser sync across devices is just archaic.
Yup. I can't not use the same browser on my phone and computer. Plus I want my Google now to show me interesting articles, so I'm stuck with Chrome. Which isn't a problem.

So this smart text selection thing on O is amazing. It's like a more active now on tap. All morning I've been going through threads tapping on names and titles and the functionality works almost every time.

I do like it, because it means my tablet and phone both get the notification if I can't find one.

But I certainly appreciate there are scenarios I'd like to turn it off.

Pixel 2 XL more than likely is the best phone in the group, but what's the best alternative to it: The OnePlus 6 or the LG V30?

Want to spend no more than $500-$550 before I sell off my S7.

Also, does Moto have anything close to the Moto X Play in 2018?

The new update for the S9 has completely fucked up my phone. I can't see my contacts on the contact list or in messages. And I can only seem to make 1 alarm, which is no good lol.

Edit: fixed.
