I'm waiting for Bleach Thousand Year Blood War to be fully aired before watching it. Have they said how many episodes the show is gonna to be?
There are 4 parts, each containing 13 episodes each, so 52 total. Last week was the start of Part 3 so it was the half-way point. Part 4 will probably be out next October, so you'll be able to watch it all late 2025, early 2026.

52. 13 per season with the current one being season 3. So season 4 will be the last.

Well I'll wait till 2026 than, by than all the episodes will be aired and I can binge them all

I'm just happy that Studio Pierrot is no longer doing fillers and are actually making sure the story arcs from manga are properly animated

If they ever redo Naruto I would love to have a series with no filler, bigger budget and keep the OST from both previous shows but update it with new mixes and a couple of new songs

I think you should enjoy things in the present, the future is not guaranteed. I just binge all the previous parts before a new part starts.

Tite Kubo said he wants there to be a Bleach anime remake in the style of TYBW with no filler. Not sure if they'll make it but TYBW is pretty successful so who knows...

Would be great if Naruto got remade like that as well.

Funny thing about most of Bleach’s fillers is that they were always way better quality than other shonen show fillers, even when they didn’t need to be.

Like seriously, we had the following:

Bount Arc
New Captains
Zanpaktou Rebellion
Gotei 13
Hell Chapter

Compare this to other shonen shows back then that had way, way worse and more boring filler, and it felt like the Bleach team were at least trying to keep the quality good throughout and introduce new lore and scenarios that fit the story well.

I actually remember feeling sad that the zanpaktou arc wasn’t official. That one felt the most important not only for lore but for character building as well.

Just watched the first episode of Daima. It was…interesting.

I wonder if they're going to make Towa and Mira canon

Think I've bit off more than I can chew lmao

Look guys and gals, here me out, but you should all watch Thunderbolt Fantasy, which technically isn't anime but is created and written by non other than top G Gen Urobuchi.

Notable works:
Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Fate/Zero
Psycho-Pass
Saya no Uta
Kamen Rider Gaim

Hiroyuki Sawano is the composer. (Attack on Titan, Xenoblade X and a million other things)

The direction and action is superb, the story is mythological and very enjoyable as are the characters. The music/soundtrack is also great.

Season 4 is out in October and the first 3 seasons are short and there's a movie.

Give it a go and maybe you'll end up loving it as much as I do. :pie_raybans:
Pfffttt everyone passing on Thunderbolt Fantasy which is a masterpiece.

Loving the new Rurouni Kenshin anime. This season is looking much better than the first one. Hope they keep adapting the manga until the end tbh.

It's not anime, no, but for me it kind of pushes the same buttons that anime does and there is definitely influence from it. It has more in common with anime than american animated tv series, let's say

It's a great watch, let me know if you enjoyed it!

I hope I do since all of these "Western Anime" have been pretentious, condescending, agenda pushing crap. I haven't seen a good one yet. I know harsh but it's the truth

what does everyone here prefer between aniilist and MAL? I used MAL for years and decided to try the other, but it seems 10 things aren't imported, and I have no way of knowing what they were, which makes me kinda crazy

As for this season, not a whole lot going on. Mostly just following dandandan and tensei kizoku, although every episode of tensei feels kind of the same. Saikyou no Shienshoku is not bad so far.

Orb has been excellent so far. Very refreshing anime. I think I'm enjoying it more than Dandadan, which has also been really good.

The Elusive Samurai had a good first season as well.

Was just checking to see if anyone was talking and/or recommending it in this thread.
I've been enjoying it, definitely a unique and refreshing premise for an anime and even the story went in a direction I didn't initially expect. It's a tad slow and doesn't seem to have the highest budgets but it's definitely a highlight of the season for me.

Orb is great. I wonder if all the arcs for each new set of characters will be relatively short or if there will be a definitive main character.

That sudden bridge death was strangely contrived though.

All this talk of Orb is wanting me to check it out. I wasn't interested due to Netflix being involved
