Yay! Now I feel late to the party. This just decided to show up today!
If I'm bored today, I'm gonna take mine to the local MacOutfitters and get her fixed up. (Is this something they're prepared for? Or will I have to send it out and wait for it to come back?)
I had exactly the same problem but on both sides. I took it to the apple store in london and they said they could fix it (but not the minor crack on the top). So far I'm not impressed with apple.
I'm really hoping that the new Penryn models have fixed this issue, they seem to be made out of a different plastic...but I could be wrong. I'm not going to hold my breath.
Take it into Apple, they can replace the topcase in about 20 minutes most of the time. It happened to my Macbook, it's one of the reasons I upgrade to a MBP.
