Is that true? Never heard of them doing that.Scores depends if Bandai gives them a gimped difficulty like the reviews versions of Souls games (everything have less life and hit less stronger) imo

Looks to be that way by a day.PC has earlier release??
Wait wtf lolIt happened for sure with Dark Souls 3, I believe it was around 20% less damage/health
From has cultivated a massive Souls fanbase who are going to buy in and be largely disappointed when they learn what From was about before 2011.
Or they'll enjoy it for the well crafted game that it is and realize not every game has to be a spuls like to enjoy it. There's still plenty of things here that souls fans should like. From has cultivated a massive Souls fanbase who are going to buy in and be largely disappointed when they learn what From was about before 2011
So after we remove fromsoftware worshipping it's just your typical bargain bin 6/10 armored core game. As expected. An odd return to what has been a mostly mediocre series. It fixes multiple issues, mainly control-wise from the past titles, without adding much else. It isn’t great to look at, and while it can be fun to play its poor balance as you progress kills any joy to be found after not too long.
You mean before 2009.
I was expecting you.. you seem to be under every fromsoft thread with the same comment every time.So after we remove fromsoftware worshipping it's just your typical bargain bin 6/10 armored core game. As expected.

Yeah, after reading a few tidbits from the reviews, it does seem very one or the other.Reviews going all the places... you love the game or hate the game.
Damn, PC version is at 91 on Metacritic now.
It sounds like From finally put some money toward optimization. Thank God.Seems to be another experience on PC

I like the basic path FromSoftware has taken with Armored Core 6. It's less arcadey and more varied and faster in its gameplay with, in my opinion, sensible additions (especially from Sekiro). That being said, I think it's only better for it to an extent. There's no question that this is not least due to my skill, but if the action is clearly too hard for me after the rather moderate first few hours, I'm hardly the only one who feels that way.
That's why it can't be called a "must-have title" for action fans. But if you like mechas and have always thought that AC could benefit from slight additions of Souls-like games, you should definitely consider buying it.
As a big fan of anime and Japanese pop culture, I've always had a thing for mechs and their stories. However, many of the mech games didn't convince me. Oftentimes the controls were just too indirect and too clunky for me.
But Armored Core 6 took me by storm. After almost 30 hours later, my Armored Core has become a giant, equipped with weapons almost as big as itself. I've ravaged whole swaths of land and fought bosses that took everything out of me I had. In typical From Software fashion, this game also made me curse but also rewarded me for my efforts time and time again.
At first, I thought the action would become tiresome after a few hours. Yet, after dozen hours, I'm still waiting to get my fill of the huge explosions. The many locations and the ability to build any mech I can think of still grab me.
But I'm tired of discovering the little From Software "legacy issues" in this game as well. Most notably the choppy camera that makes the gameplay experience difficult, especially during fast-paced battles. Nevertheless, I experienced a fantastic warfare of attrition here. Whether you're a long-time fan of the series or a newbie, everyone should get into this mecha. And for the Elden Ring fans among you: There is an enemy that strongly resembles Malenia.
After Elden Ring, From Software delivers yet again: Although Armored Core 6 isn't a masterpiece, it's still a great action game.
So after we remove fromsoftware worshipping it's just your typical bargain bin 6/10 armored core game. As expected.
nah they are pretty much xbox fanatics, probably afraid of this scoring higher than starfield atm.tbf xboxera is biased towards MS games, AC is not a PS or xbox game and id likely agree with the review if i played it.
That'll be me!Excited for all the Souls normies to try this and find out its an Armored Core game.
Thats an interesting angle, maybe thats true lolnah they are pretty much xbox fanatics, probably afraid of this scoring higher than starfield atm.
i guess bg3 already caused a meltdown at the office.
i have no idea what i bought since i never played one of these but every fro soft game is a day one for me...and i know ill enjoy it and if i dont, who gives a shit man. From has cultivated a massive Souls fanbase who are going to buy in and be largely disappointed when they learn what From was about before 2011.
i do comfy couching on pc with a 55 oled gaming tv and all wireless lightspeed setup up. so good.Is this cross play for pvp ?
Clearly the PC version is a significant improvement over console even though console has rock solid 60fps at 4k which is wild.
I think I’ll have to go PC even though I wanted comfy couch.
When can pc start playing ?
