Startup stuff should be permanent.
This is one of my gripes with Sony; they finally get round to doing something or go 90% of the way to nailing something; and then just arbitrarily handicap the endeavour with stupid limitations.
A lot of the old guard may have changed over, but at heart these are still the folks who brought you one analogue nub on the PSP.
I can only assume they wanna sell 'em to people at a later date and this is just the taste to hook us in.

Even better, a comprehensive set of options on PS5 that can be mixed together would be great:
