Characters rarely look exactly like drawings.
In anime they do.

At some point at a heavy discount? Yup. Not anymore. Same as with the SW: OutlawsSo you were actually in, up until seeing her in-game face?

Found the non-binary in feudal Japan
The fck is THIS SHIT?! Yeah, I'll pass. They can get fcked with this uglification of a female characters.
The right model looks as if someone wanted to blur the line between traditional female and male facial features erring on the side of the latter (for some mysterious and decidedly non political reasonPlease go see a doctor, you may be going blind.

Even Stevie Wonder can see the huge jawline of the in-game version compared to the concept art.
Thicker eyebrows, strong and broad jawline. The in-game model has masculine features, the concept art doesn’t.

English is not my native language but he goes from single subject to plural to single subject again with zero hints that he is changing subject, not sure how grammatically correct it is tbh. That's what it's referring to. It's basic grammar.
I'm all for hunting out DEI/wokeness and mocking it, but we need to be careful it doesn't blind us.
Yeah so apparently the clan always felt constrained by the strict rules of the samurai class, as opposed to that word They referring to the character subject being profiled here? Riiight. And I have a bridge to sell you.English is not my native language but he goes from single subject to plural to single subject again with zero hints that he is changing subject, not sure how grammatically correct it is tbh.
He goes from "he is this, this and this" to "they are this, this and this" to him again being this and this.
If you chose that you are talking about him as a single subject it doesn't make sense to include his clan for just a period and then return to him as single subject, the phrase feel a bit disjointed.
I'm just giving them the benefit of the doubt because the phrase is not super clear, i doubt they are gonna go as far as having a they\them samurai after the gigantic veilguard fiasco.Yeah so apparently the clan always felt constrained by the strict rules of the samurai class, as opposed to that word They referring to the character subject being profiled here? Ubisoft is trying to pull a fast one, no doubt about that in my mind.
That's fairminded of you to do, I was getting a bit affected by the spirit of chudliness running around lately.I'm just giving them the benefit of the doubt because the phrase is not super clear, i doubt they are gonna go as far as having a they\them samurai after the gigantic veilguard fiasco.
But ubisoft is pretty stupid so who knows...
Looks great to me:
It is on purpose, I think it is intentionally trying to redefine what feminine looks like in media, which is not really working as a task, but strangely the same has not happened with male characters.Even Stevie Wonder can see the huge jawline of the in-game version compared to the concept art.

So a more mannish face is what you are saying.I would say a minor downgrade visually. She had a very feminine japanese face here, now her face is more square.
I've been trying to tell my waitress at Applebees that for years.e-hentai is actually a legit place to find artbooks/data books/ect. of anime and games.
So a more mannish face is what you are saying.
Do you usually consider a man's face on a woman to be a minor downgrade visually?
Please explain this to me!!

Looks like Ubi ripped off bunch of pictures that are available online. No idea if this is true or not. Please explain this to me!!
It is. Was a big part of the early uproar when they teased the artbook. But did they actually include this in their final artbook? I don't know. I'm hesitant to look through the hentai website for... reasonsLooks like Ubi ripped off bunch of pictures that are available online. No idea if this is true or not.
She looks like a Tetsuya Nomura character. And i meant that as a bad thing.100%

No need to mean, the guy on the right looks fine....Please go see a doctor, you may be going blind.

Indeed, they made her older/uglier/more masculine, standard ubi procedure. No need to mean, the guy on the right looks fine....
I wager that if this was our lineup of protagonists then the game might have better reception. No need to mean, the guy on the right looks fine....
That's gonna be interesting...
Yeah, I will wait for more adventurous amongst us to browse the fine goods there on display. It is. Was a big part of the early uproar when they teased the artbook. But did they actually include this in their final artbook? I don't know. I'm hesitant to look through the hentai website for... reasons
If we are going to go down this path of analyzing facial bone structure, at least pick a shot from within the game please? The one being shared here repeatedly is from their CG trailer. Not the one in gameplay or cutscenes..She is clearly more feminine there, but the below image is giving me Mortal Kombat 1995 Liu Kang vibes.

That's not even just using them for reference. Vile.
