I was the same way, but I think that's more because I just suck at remembering stuff in monthly manga. Hell, I might have even forgotten there was a female titan at all at that point. It might have been different had I read it all in one go (or not).
Manga pacing and the relatively horrible art helped obscure the three titans. I dunno why the anime didn't try to hide it but hey it's their direction.
That's why I liked it in the manga. I liked how Eren kept to the plan when Reiner revealed himself even though he knew about it earlier, and Reiner just went "fuck this shit let's just grab him".

Yeah, reading the speculation here and on other sites, people have already pretty much figured out two of the titans... it'll probably take them a little longer to connect Berthold with the Colossal Titan. I don't think anybody will figure out Ymir until that bonus episode comes out.
It needs more of the Hairy Titan since he actually is a complete mystery at this point.
Yeah, he's p. cool but I don't think we'll see more of him for a while to come.

Someone already called Ymir being a titan back around episode 9 or something.
Well, they could just make a wild guess, but there's no real evidence for that at this point.
I didn't mind how overt it all was, and it'll give people something to talk about when the show turns into a slideshow two weeks from now.

So the anime is pretty much completely spelling it out for people? Thats kind of lame. I bet the wall titans will surprise them at least.
What made Reiner and Bert switch back to their original goal? I just binge read the manga and it seemed like they were quite content fooling themselves into thinking they were siding with humanity. Why the change? I admit I saw Annie being the female titan easily enough but Reiner blindsided me, as he actually seemed to care about humanities cause.
Finally caught up and I must say the revelation in chapter 42 was fucking hilarious and made up for just how dumb this series has gotten. lmaoo

Well, yeah. The part where they tell you her name is "Ymir" pretty much is the reveal.

It's on the official site, yeah. Whereas she's only known as "freckles" in the end credits.

I just noticed another detail in the TV series that makes things a bit more obvious than in the manga: they actually show Reiner taking off his hood right before attacking the female titan.
Incidentally, those dates are one of the reasons why I think those theories about the series being set in our world don't hold much water. At the very least, it seems unlikely the titans appeared in our modern world, anyway.

So I got a bunch of import soundtracks today from Play-Asia, including the Linked Horizon single with both Attack on Titan openings.
After listening to both songs in full, second opening is superior am confirmed. Which is surprising for me, because I wasn't a huge fan of the second opening the first few times I listened to it. But it grew on me.

Pessimistic thought that the "Ymir ate Christa! She's turned on us!" misunderstanding will be excruciatingly. Maybe we'll get lucky and have another tribunal!
I definitely wouldn't be surprised if they found a whole lot of nothing there. Or something like "there was a syringe here to enable your titan skillz son but you can already do it soooo..."
The basement is an entrance to a dungeon, and when they go deep enough they end up in Tokyo.

Giving away what? I should probably catch up on the anime, really like the art. What was the pace again, around one ep per chapter all the way up to ~24?

The anime version is giving away most of the Titans' identities by having color and less messy art. The current OP and ED are pretty nasty in terms of spoilers as well.
I think it's as easy to guess as it was in the manga... You're only seeing explicit frames of her face for a few seconds(unless you pause/take screenshots), never mind the fact that viewers think she is still deep within the walls after having just walked away from survey corps.
