Where the fuck are they hiding the Playstation Tech Support number on their goddamn support website?

Found it through Whirlpool anyway but they're closed, guess I shouldn't have played Skyrim for 4 hours.

Not like you play Bethesda games for the storytelling and writing anyway. It's all about the exploration, atmosphere, and the amount of shit you can do in the game, no matter how redundant some of that shit is, it's so addictive! (for me at least).

1800 365 911. Used to be a very popular number to know when working retail in the ps2 era. I imagine todays retailers are on a first name basis with MS support reps.

I played a huge chunk of UC3 today
from halfway through that awful ship graveyard through to wandering through the desert
. When it's great, it's great. When you need to use a gun, it sucks. Or when you get into a fistfight, that sucks too. And the enemies, they suck too. Other than that, It's clearly Game of the Year by any objective measure
so long as you exclude Portal 2, Bulletstorm, Gears of War 3, Batman AA, Skyrim, Skyward Sword, SR3, Super Mario 3DS, AC:R, Deus Ex:HR, Battlefield 3 and MW3.
. Definitely a game that picks up in the second half. They did to Elena's what Vivendi/Universal did to Crash Bandicoot after ND moved on from the series.

Also- where is the best Bricks and mortar price for a 3DS? I've suggested one as a gift for me for Xmas but my wife wants to pay cash and walk out with one rather than buy online.

any colour other than pink is preferred.

a personal appeal from Jimmy Wales always cracks me up.

Probably three nights. I am out tomorrow night. They clearly expect to be entertained. Fuck you: I read, write, linger on GAF, cook steak, jack off, play games, work out, nap. None of this is conceivably entertaining to anybody but me, and it is a routine I am pretty much unable to alter*.

Yeah, if random relatives came and stayed at my place and just went off to do their own thing during the day, I'd be fine with it. The constant entertaining part is the worst.

Oh well, suck it up Sal, random family is still technically family! Have fun!

Family visiting for a while disrupting your routine is really irritating. I had someone come and visit, I was glad, cause I hadn't seen them for a very long time.

Because of the length of their stay, I didn't wank for a week.

Well, I wrote it to deliver to friends at a vaguely casual symposium, and was asked to submit it to a journal. I underestimated the extent to which they wanted me to stiffen up the (fairly conversational) paper with "current scholarship" and "more precise definitions".

No worries, really. Cramming papers full of superfluous but impressive references is my goddamn hobby.
