Knew this was shit from start
This is so saddening. This will be the "Resident Evil 3: Remake" of 2021. Experiencing so much wasted potential after having so much excitement.
This is coming from someone who loved Nights: Journey of Dreams on the Wii. You know, the game everyone hated.
Steady on nowThis game is trading blows with Superman 64.
I'm not joking
Ah, I meant by relativity. I agree with ya to an extent.Come on. Resident Evil 3 Remake was not a bad game. A bit disappointing, yes. But, don't compare it to this garbage.
This demo has cost them sales
I was kind of disappointed but I still have some hope. How did you go? I was actually very disappointed with it unfortunately. I think the sentiment of it feeling like a mobile game is accurate. Wonder why Yuji Naka didn't try and nail the feel of the gameplay?
Played the first world on Switch and everything about it felt awful.
Jumping is a canned animation without any sort of momentum involved.
Stutters terribly every time the camera turns.
Moving objects disappear when you get close to them.
Pop in happens about four feet away from you. You really don't have any sort of moveset outside of the suits.
Running animation is wonky.
Characters look like human Sonic characters.
A game like this pales in comparison to Mario Odyssey, if not Mario 64.
Final thoughts:
One cool thing is that you can go to the circle of light checkpoint and open up the dressing room and change outfits, so you are never in a jam.Game is starting to grow on me, you really got to take it as it's own thing rather than compare it to other things. So far it seems to be a light hearted collectahon platformer. The heart of the game based on what I played are the collectible power ups which give you abilities and help you collect more collectibles. The minigames are fun as well. Only thing that bugged me is that you gotta be careful when getting a new powerup as it overwrites the current powerup, so make sure to switch to another powerup or if you have two of the same one to switch to that one to avoid losing a unique powerup
Awesome! I went into that room but didn't know that, thanks for clarifying! Thanks for the heads up on the levels too, I had a feeling there was more than meets the eye to this game, glad you confirmed it!One cool thing is that you can go to the circle of light checkpoint and open up the dressing room and change outfits, so you are never in a jam.
The first level is rather basic platformer fair, but after that the game becomes really interesting with all kinds of cool game play mechanics.
Demo kinda ruined it for me. I wonder if the full game has the jump button mapped to 5 different buttons.I'm not sure to buy it after the players reviews...
As did I. Maybe later??I thought this was announced for Game Pass
LOL a bit late for them to do damage control the demo worked as intended just not in the way they hoped. They are probably hoping there are suckers out there that won't have tried the demo or watched a review to blindly buy their turd of a game.Don't know if this was reported but the demo has been removed from all platforms.
