It legitimately used to be that way, yeah. But the deals aren't that crazy now. They last weeks usually. And most of it is also online.

Back in the day though, that was some crazy shit.

A few stores actually don't even open on that Friday now since they're trying to actually treat their workers like humans since they all kept quitting after covid. Now they can sometimes stay home after Thanksgiving instead of dealing with a mob of infected psychos.

I absolutely hated the 1st one. I'm not trying this unless it's $10, only because of all the praise it gets. I did the same thing with TLoU2. It finally hit $10 eventually after several years. It's not my kind of game but I'd like to see it at least.

I might get Resident Evil 4 for Xbox at Walmart. Isn't the dead zone still bad on that one though? I know they patched it a little way back, but is it the same as PC/PS5 now?

RE4R for $30 looks good to me, I'll bite at that price. These sales are overall pretty lame though. $30 for DKTF when it should have launched at that price to begin with.

Would make more sense to close on Thursday instead so store workers can actually spend Thanksgiving at home. Most companies are open on Friday. It's not a federal holiday. I would have had to work that day as well if I didn't use my PTO to take that day off.

i have just bought ff xvi, cyberpunk w/phantom libs dlc and sifu. i was about the get diablo iv and then remembered its better to wait for a discount on bg3 to play a fantasy game in that merit.

These were purchased on ps5 btw.

Any other price tags are irrelevant.

Out of those what is the funnest and shows off the power of the PS5. Pick 3. Ps5 bundle I’m buying is most likely the Slim SM2 bundle. Kinda want to play the first two SM games before diving into the sequel.

Love FF but I heard xvi was a terrible rpg. Is it still a fun action game with a cool story or nah? Should I stick to ffvii remake since the sequel is around the corner? I love me some Tifa.

Jesus these "deals" are garbage. I just wanted Dead Space and Lies Of P but there's no way I'm paying $48 for a digital copy of Lies Of P and I probably won't pay $35 for Dead Space either. Any other year these are just normal price drops/standard sales.

On the bright side I did pick up Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes for $15 at Amazon earlier this week.

Spiderman, FF7, Returnal. I'd also recommend Ghost of Tsushima as it has some of the best art design in a videogame, but I would imagine some open world fatigue between GoT/Spiderman. You'll want to play FF7 before the sequel. Returnal looks really great and is a very unique title. You can skip R&C and FF16 and miss out on nothing.

- Used copy of GT7 25th PS5 version limited edition for 40$ Canadian.
-MCC for 13$ from MS store ( again, I on PC and son on his xbox )

Netherlands: PS5 is 429 euro, all DualSense controllers are 50 euro. Those are good prices.

Game prices are pretty bad in general. Nothing shocking - unless you desperately wanted to buy Forspoken but waited till the price hit the magic 15 euro mark. Then you won Black Friday.

the only game i would say not to get is ratchet. not that it's not good, but it's like 8 hours long and has very little replayability. it's a good game if you have kids though.

You should double check, but I think all of these games other than FF XVI and Spider-Man are included on PS Plus Extra. That might be the way to go if you have time to play several games a year.
