The Golden Joystick Awards, also known as the People's Gaming Awards, is a video game award ceremony; it awards the best video games of the year, as voted for originally by the British general public,[1] but is now a global event that can be voted online via GamesRadar+. As of 2023, the ceremony was in its 41st year. It is the longest-running video game award ceremony, launched in 1983, and the second-oldest video game award ceremony after the Arcade Awards, launched in 1981...

For context.

Players Republic of China voted for that.

Dude is just the second time you posted that.

Critics chose Helldivers 2, the People's Republic of China voting chose Black Myth.

You act like only people from China are allowed to vote for that game with is not true. They are gamers too.

You're one to talk about posting shit over and over.

I can be cheeky if I want to. Here's another,

At least they're allowed to vote on something like the west.

Are you comparing me posting memes with your context?

Helldivers 2 is a good game. Relax dude. They voted in mass for Black Myth, we know.
I'm plenty relaxed. You're the one whining about jokes and memes you yourself admit you take part in.

Gratz to Wukong.

While it's not my pick as I prefer Space Marine 2, Rebirth, and Stellar Blade over it but Wukong still did more than enough to deserve it and don't mind at all that it won.

Briana White
Fallout
Final Fantasy Rebirth
GTA VI

These are also good choices there on the list along with Wukong.

Had such a wonderful & painful time with this game.. some memorable bosses that made me suffer like a bitch.. but ultimately I’ve finished the game and really enjoy it… best game I’ve played this year for sure..

Deserved. The people have spoken.

"lowest critic rated games to be nominated GOTY" get the hell outta here. Critic ratings are becoming more and more worthless. The same critics that gives Veilguard 83 but Wukong only 81? Absolute jokes.

This game will age like fine wine. It's probably not gonna win TGA this year but a few years down the line and looking back, people will realize Wukong is in fact the best triple A game in 2024.

Fun fact: in a certain sense they are basically the same character.

EDIT - For the four people on the planet who don't know: Son Goku is the Japanese name of Sun Wukong and Dragonball was originally conceived as a comedic, modern retelling of Journey to the West (except it went in a different direction after the first arcs).
