The most important review is still absent
I'm happy the game is getting such a great reception. It does however make the wait until Friday in the UK almost unbearable.
I have never heard of Stevivor. Are they reputable?
Where was I port begging? Somebody was asking for a sequel that would have been exclusive and I said we shouldn't ask for more exclusives. I'd rather see FROM freed up to do something multiplatform rather than focusing more effort on exclusives. I thought people would have generally agreed that the more people who get to play FROM's games, especially from the so-called 'A team', the better, but I guess not.

Isn't continued port-begging bannable ?
I cannot wait to see Polygon's review ^^
6.5/10
- More of the same
- Atrocious loading time
- Not as pretty and stable as The Order
Polygon said:We're not quite ready to publish a review of Bloodborne, as we've only had access to the game for a few days and have spent too little time with the PlayStation 4 game's multiplayer components. But having played the game for nearly 40 hours, exploring the vast dreary world of Yarnham, it's clear that Bloodborne is an incredible, beautiful follow-up to From Software's Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.
No, I'm asking you, who is the game from?
So are you gonna eat one of those giant belly-dragging Yharnam crows when they give it a 9 or a 10?I cannot wait to see Polygon's review ^^

Those reviews. Jesus christ.. I wasn't interested that much, but now I somehow really really want this game right now. Even though I know it'll kick my ass.
Unfortunately I promised myself to not buy any more games until I finally get a job. Being unemployed with a fucking master's degree in your pocket really sucks![]()

Well based on their article they put out already, it looks like they like it bunches.
We'll see though.
Out of curiosity, who wrote the article?
I feel you brotherAny chance Amazon uk preorders will turn up before friday? (this is the first game I've preordered in about 5 years!)

That one reviews (slightly) negative point about 22 hours of length makes me want to pick it up actually... Love the art, monster design but a 50+ hour dedication is a pretty big deal. 22 hours is sounding more approachable and these seem to have great replay value if I want more.

Be forewarned that other reviewers have spent upwards of 40 hours and expect to spend 40 more, so reports of length seem to vary.
It saves constantly. You can drop out of the game any time you like and resume exactly where you left.
FFS!No, I'm asking you, who is the game from?
Too Japanese?Arthur Gies isn't going to review any From Software game in the future he said.
Lol at the people getting this now because of the reviews.
All souls games had good scores.
Dark Souls 1 and 2 over 90% too.

YESSSSSS
From what i understand, its more Demon's Souls than Dark. There's no area that goes blighttown levels with those constant sustained types of drops, which is already a good thing. Yeah i'd say from what i've heard, it was around Demon's. It definitely has drops and slowdown, but never really sustained and not enough to really impede enjoyment

Why is this? DaS seemed to take minimum 40 no? Reading so many reports of low end numbers mixed with high end
That seems odd to me
Polygon's review will be high, it's being written by McWhertor. He voted for Demon's Souls as game of the year back in 2009 and most of the rest of Kotaku thought he was crazy.
Uh, this game basically has bonfires. Hope you manage to like it anyway.Yes, but there are some out there, myself included, that fucking despise the bonfire system, and so are interested in this game more.
Well this really is system seller for me. Looks so great and seems to be everything and more than I expected.
All this snarky Polygon slamming seems unnecessary and bit insecure though.
Yeah, Sony have marketed a 'niche' game (I know the audience is now mainstream) to a wide audience who have never played a Souls game, the casualties will be high, haha.
The posters that are like "I might have to pick this up now." - If you'd never been actively interested by the Souls series and the GAF hype hasn't already got to you then the game probably isn't for you. I phrased that in a very elitist way but I'm actually more impressed that Sony have managed to market this to so many people who were previously disinterested in the series.
