Only two episodes left!

To be honest, I thought last night's was one of the weaker episodes.
It's good to know that George doesn't have cancer, though
.

I think tonight's episode was my favorite of the series. It had a complete arc and it all felt really warm and poetic by the end. It also helps that the show's shot ridiculously well.

I really wish these seasons were longer.

Another great episode. So sad it's ending already next week.

The student Jonathon is seeing is so damn hot. I knew she looked familiar and I did some google-ing and found out she's the young secretary Leonardo Dicaprio sleeps with in Revolutionary Road. She was more plump in that movie and as I recall she shows her sweet rack in one scene. But she looks completely different on Bored to Death.

:/

Wow, this past episode was fantastic. I think my favorite of the season.

For some reason, the way Vikram throws his newspaper in the air when they come running out of the spa got me :lol :lol

George ogling all of the ladies in the women's locker room :lol my reaction as well!

I really enjoyed this particular episode's scenery and lighting.

Both Bored to Death and Eastbound and Down took great first seasons and knocked them out of the park with the second seasons. HBO remains untouchable.

That was a super great finale.

The real Jonathon Ames again making a cameo.

"I lost a lot of blood, I got 2 stitches" :lol

Good to see
Ray and Leah back together.

Going to miss this show. :(

Great finish to an amazing season. I wish more people watched this show. I think a lot of people were turned off by the initial awkwardness of the show in the first season. But it has gotten soooo good and funny and ridiculous.

"If he sticks a pencil up my twat and it hurts,...I'm going to regret this."

The cast of this show piques my interest. Is it good enough to blind buy or is it more of a niche show?
The first season is a little hit and miss with some people, but personally, I really liked it. And the second season was far, far better. If you're intrigued by the cast, then this is definitely up your alley - everyone's used magnificently.

I'm happy we get another season of Bored to Death, but is anyone else a bit surprised the show got renewed? I assumed the ratings weren't doing well enough to warrant another season. :lol

Great finale. Absolutely love this show and I think it's a pity that so few people are watching it. I mean just look at this thread. Only 2 pages for an entire season.
So glad it's getting another season. Ted Danson is the man. :D

I think last season Curb Your Enthusiasm was averaging about 1-1.5 million viewers an episode. That sounds pretty low for one of HBO's top comedies. Bored to Death was hovering around the 1 million mark as well.

These numbers are from the beginning of last season (S1 Bored, S7 Curb). Not sure how much has changed for Bored to Death but I can't imagine it being more than 2 million viewers per episode.

The show is really critically acclaimed. The show is probably very cheap to make too. Good on HBO for keeping it around. I find HBO is more than willing to give most shows time to grow and build an audience.

Look at Life and Times of Tim. I was shocked they renewed that for a 3rd season. I guarantee that is their lowest rated show and yet they still renewed it. That show is really funny. Wish more people would watch it.

Yea I really loved that finale. Very satisfying end for all characters.

Wow didn't know the new season was starting so soon. Doesn't seem like a year has passed since season 2 began. Time flies.

My favorite comedy on tv next to curb.

I had no idea there was a trailer for the new season. It's a shame it isn't starting until October. I just rewatched season two with a friend of mine recently, so I'm looking forward to this one.
