Here's how I remember what happened.

She was living with her Husband & Mother, all together in the same house

She died.

Internet gossip suspected her husband had something to do with her death. Cause he looked creepy/shady according to them

After her death, her mother & husband continued living in the same house Brittany died in.

5 months later her husband dies in the same house with the same symptoms.

Speculation it was really toxic mold in the house that killed them both.





Years later, now, according to this thread it was toxic metals that killed both of them

Grammar side question: Is it "is there any reports..." or "are there any reports..." above?

I didn't see any reference to any such reports. If other sources were studied they don't mention it at all in the articles discussing this toxicology report.

My grammar is not to be trusted on most occasions but I think "are there any reports" is correct since "reports" is plural.

I would say death by heavy metal poisoning is pretty natural. It would be unnatural to keep living with an overdose of 10 heavy metals in your body.

It's pretty suspicious that both she and her husband died in the same way. Pretty stupid by whoever did this if there's actually foul play at hand here.

Also, if she did have those "high levels" in her, they are usually "high" for chronic exposure and not for a single dose.

I have no idea. I just know that many insects and rat/mice-poisons are based on heavy metals. Maybe a mix of several different poisons?

1) Hair dye is the most likely culprit
2) She didn't have any tell tale signs of heavy metal poisoning, specifically white lines in her finger nails
3) The company that produced the report isn't exactly legitimate, and isn't accredited by the College of American Pathologists.
4) The report itself is supposedly shoddy compared to professional forensic reports
5) The person who ran the tests (completely separate from the company that produced the report, but IS accredited by the College of American Pathologists) didn't say shit about poisoning, and suspected hair dye
6) No one is certain how the hair sample was even produced

The slate article does a good job of elaborating. Women's hair is typically full of metals and chemicals from hair products. And those high levels or mrls are usually set due to chronic exposure over decades not months.
