I don't think we have Carl's Jr/Hardees in my area anymore. Do they still do replacement regional commercials or is that only for 4th quarter local car commercials and whatever the big thing is in your area?

Before
But in 2017, the chain ditched the ads, claiming it wanted to tell the “broader story” of its offerings.

After
The brand’s return to racy advertising comes as major companies have soured on virtue signaling.

“I think it does reflect a shift in how the country is feeling,” Tim Calkins, clinical professor of marketing and associate chair of the marketing department at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, told The Wall Street Journal.

I would pay good money to see that starved waif actually eat that burger. Guarantee she would be throwing it up less than half way through as its probably more calories than she eats in a week.

I salute her sacrifice!

She's airbrushed harder then the pleasure in your avatar.
I thought for a moment that she might be AI generated.

I also wondered if they're planning on using the ad again later on which is why she never referred to a specific event, or if you're not even allowed to say Superbowl without paying the NFL a fee.

Also, wow, that app must be gathering a scary amount of data if it's worth them paying to maks an ad, running the ad (I presume during the most expensive advertising period too) and then giving away millions of burgers to convince people to download it.

But hey, no piercings or dungarees.

Miss skinny legs has probably never ever eaten a burger.

I'm not trying to single you out by quoting you, but I think this is a perfect encapsulation of how fucked everything is for women in media. While people are celebrating a woman being hired for an advert who looks a particular way, the criticism of her for looking that way simultaneously kicks off.

It's just a jokey observation. She's obviously fit as fuck.
