Coz its description of future america, i understand the west is super crazy already and in 2077 it will be even more crazy, it would be weird and unbelievable actually if it looked like midleages poland that witcher games series look like(+slavik legends and magic).

TLDR:- If/when w4 has that shit then it looks out of place(like in netflix series), when cp2077 has it all, it feels exactly how i would imagine crazy distopian future america.

But you can't imagine a future dystopia universe with a bounty hunter shaving their head or treat it like satire for Sigourney Weaver in that nostalgic period? It's too much?

This is what I mean by you can excuse anything for any game if your heart so desires. CDPR put those in Cyberpunk for DEI though, no matter how you wish to roleplay in the game as "believable future America".

Yup its too much coz in cp2077 i could make my own character, obviously masculine male, here i get no such choice and im not gonna play game with disgusting mc, same way most ppl didnt wanna play concord and look at all those disgusting characters either.

Yes but not playing a game because of "unappealing character" does not make a game 5x more woke or agenda driven than a game where CDPR has explicitly told you they removed genders from the game mid development for DEI reasons. Which is why I said

There is "wokeness" in Cyberpunk explicitly stated by CDPR themselves. Your issue isn't whether Cyberpunk is woke or not because it clearly is by their own admission. It's that you don't like looking at 'ugly characters'. If Concord had pretty characters but pronouns would it no longer be woke?

Fucking hell, at this rate racing devs will be fearful of showing purple cars in their games, in fear of causing an internet meltdown.
 
If this game was accurate to mideval times, Ciri would deal with horrible sexist rhetoric, sexual harassment, and probably attempted sexual assault. I doubt a video game will ever dig deep into these topics, but it would be nice if CDPR actually depicted the frustrations that the character of Ciri would obviously deal with on a daily basis

Thats a stupid take, games/movies can be diverse w/o being woke, we got plenty of those, and many of them are actually timeless classics.

Somehow no1 forces players to buy wukong, space marine 2, stellar blade, nier and hundreds of other non woke games, but yet when customers excercise their right to free choice of not buying bad game, they getting called all kinds of names and ridiculed to no end :)

Its same like women are allowed to have boundaries and preferences, but as soon as man decides to not seriously date, aka disqualify from giving his commitment to a woman coz he has some preferences and boundaries(for example not a slut, not a beach whale, not tatooed and pierced to hell and back, not a single mom, not an old hag) he is somehow insecure, pedo and 200 other names ;)

U woke crowd defenders gotta make peace with it- more and more players nowadas have spine and u can do nothing to force them to buy games they dont wanna buy :P
U cant negotiate attraction, u cant negotiage hype, we either wanna play particular game or not, and that is it, we rather spend our valueable time and hard earned money on stuff we enjoy :messenger_sunglasses:

The problem is if they did this, while being accurate to medieval era and the fantasy around this time, if Ciri pushed back on it at all the game would again be called woke for doing so. Sexual assault from the victors of a warring army was more of an expectation, not a possibility.

Let's say they have Redania and Temeria at war in W4 and Ciri is in a city or town freshly conquered. It's expectation an assault would be attempted. If she were to defend herself, and with her Witcher abilities and other sorc abilities, she would, the next narrative from complainers would be that she's just a woke girl boss. There's not much wiggle room for nuance.
 
I'm all for it. Previous games explored similar themes of prejudices and so on, so it will be interesting to see this from a female pov.
