Wasn't that already released as The Last of Us Part 1?Aren’t ND already working on another remake of the original? Maybe I am wrong but I swear I remember reading that. We’ll start seeing Uncharted remakes soon enough.
Right. In his mind though, he read it…Wasn't that already released as The Last of Us Part 1?
and you missed out on the greatest game ever made- your loss.buying TLOU2 is a signal to perpetuate bad writing tendencies in the industry, i boycotted it out of principle.
UsernameWell, TLOU2: R is still easily the best game I've played all year so Im glad it did well.

You can watch the story on yt without playing it. The gameplay looked like a fantastic improvement over TLOU admittedly. Then again I was talking about its writing. If you boycotted it then how do you how bad the writing is?
But you also love Horizon and Starfield. I remember you saying that Aloy was a top tier protagonist and that Starfield only needed 30fps.I get why people dump on remakes and remasters, but honestly, I've had a blast playing three such games this year with Ghost of Tsushima, TLOU 2 and Persona 3 Reload.

For better or worse it seems to be what a lot of people want. I don't know if it's because the remasters are that good or because efforts at establishing new franchises are more challenging or nostalgia is that strong. Could be a little of each I guess.I get why people dump on remakes and remasters, but honestly, I've had a blast playing three such games this year with Ghost of Tsushima, TLOU 2 and Persona 3 Reload.

Where the Last Of Us 2 haters at ? Come hold your L .
They tried their best to prove that it was a failure because of Wokeness now they sleep lol.

I'm not even sure what people mean by bad writing anymore.buying TLOU2 is a signal to perpetuate bad writing tendencies in the industry, i boycotted it out of principle.

That cuts! You must have used a Hell of a Blade Too but I guess the haters are all enjoying themselves listening to their own inner thoughts.Same place as the Faction multiplayer.
Generally it could be a lack of consistency, sloppiness and characters acting out of character with the information/experiences they have. Things happening that moves the plot forward without any setup/build up(example too many coincidences). Also too much telling rather than showing usually also is a sign of not good writing.I'm not even sure what people mean by bad writing anymore.
Getting flashbacks of the rage across the forum when the Part I remake was announced. It was a total meltdown. And I was like, this is just the version they want PC gamers to have access in the future instead of the very old looking PS4 remaster. As always, remember that most of not all of these PS5 remakes and remasters exist because Sony are developing PC versions of those games that can punch above what the PS4 could do. Since they're putting in the work to give those games a glow-up, the PS5 gets updated versions too. Fans are happy, Sony is happy, everyone wins except for the clueless boobs who keep complaining about the existence of remakes and remasters
Indeed. Clearly they did the exact opposite of Last of Us’ fans with their money. That cuts! You must have used a Hell of a Blade Too but I guess the haters are all enjoying themselves listening to their own inner thoughts.

How would they even track that?If the upgrade for previous owners of TLOU2 counts as a sale it's not very surprising. Anyone know if those count towards sales?
Yup. It’s like the episode “Fishes” for The Bear. I think it’s a masterpiece, but others can’t enjoy it because it makes them anxious, so they can’t enjoy it. They won’t put the writing down, just say that they don’t enjoy it.Pretty much. I think a lot of folks confuse not liking a story with bad writing. The story in TLOU 2 is controversial, but the writing isn't like what you are describing.
To test you, can you write out the entire plot right now in detail. Otherwise, i don't believe youYou can watch the story on yt without playing it. The gameplay looked like a fantastic improvement over TLOU admittedly. Then again I was talking about its writing.

In an industry full of bad writing in games how is TLOU2 a great example of that? Just because a game goes to places you didn't feel like it should've gone doesn't mean it's badly written.buying TLOU2 is a signal to perpetuate bad writing tendencies in the industry, i boycotted it out of principle.
They don't. Chris didn't count the upgrade path sales for the game when it first released in January. If the upgrade for previous owners of TLOU2 counts as a sale it's not very surprising. Anyone know if those count towards sales?
Same way they manage to count all digital sales I presume? I assume they are provided by the publishers but I have no real idea. How would they even track that?
Well, I could see a few people asking about that but he hasn't responded to them. They don't. Chris didn't count the upgrade path sales for the game when it first released in January.

I really can't think of a lot of games with a narrative like this.
Are there any plotholes that failed to connect both games that i'm not thinking about? Was anything retconned for no reason?
Narrative itself isn't broken in any way...not liking something doesn't mean it's bad. I don't like 90% of Prince's discography but i know the man was a genius and great at what he did.
To keep it brief I'll touch on one of many points that irked me about this sanctimonious wannabe game:Generally it could be a lack of consistency, sloppiness and characters acting out of character with the information/experiences they have. Things happening that moves the plot forward without any setup/build up(example too many coincidences). Also too much telling rather than showing usually also is a sign of not good writing.
