Almost to the start of the 2017 season. You know what that means?!

It's almost time to start looking forward to the 2018 season.

Fall camp hot takes are the same across every program

You'll hear talks about how your team is "much improved" and "salty" on both sides of the ball. All players gained "15 pounds of muscle" and look to be in "great shape" coming in. Leaders are "stepping up" and getting the younger guys to "buy in". The offense is looking "faster than ever". Air quotes are being used "gratuitously".

Yeah it's weird that every new strength coach always pushes the guys harder than they were pushed last year.

Can't relate
to these things being not true

Didn't we have a few hospitalized players from this this season?

Kent State had a player die after a workout.

Oregon's strength coach was suspended after 3 players were hospitalized with rhabdo after a workout. His only certification is/was a 21 hour track and field course. Which is why the strength coaches that have legit certifications are trying to force the NCAA to mandate certification from their association (think there are two).

This is the year everything changes.
Expected the unexpected.
Don't hold your breath.
Play to win.

Cliches aside I think Oregon State wins tomorrow. Thinking they're pretty solid this year. Pains me to say it.

I'm weirdly excited for this game. Colorado State is going to be really good this year in their conference.

Guess since UGA hasn't beaten Alabama since HD Video was around, it makes sense to use someone else doing it.

Ask me about the GAF Notebook
What's everyone's favorite stadium besides their own team's aka don't be a homer? Also what's your least favorite?

I'd probably say fav was Doak maybe that was just the atmosphere though.

Worst two were Jordan-Hare and Rocky Top for similar reasons. Upper deck is up in the clouds and you're cramped like sitting on top of the person bellow you cause it feels like it just goes up not back.

Maybe my Auburn experience was tanted by the fact that I was in the penultimate row at the top.

For the new Page, you have until next Thursday at noon for these picks to be in

Ganhyun already posted. FWIW Richt probably had a better record than most coaches against Saban.

He's Nebraska I think so they know the feeling.

what, 2-4 record? "Thanks for the compliment" I guess.

Though I guess it might just be Richt and Urbz, with more than 1 career record against Saban (and currently coaching) now that Les and Escortz are out.

Plus CSU is breaking in a new stadium and both teams are improving YoY (theoretically). CSU also has Colorado in a couple weeks too so they're set up for some pub if they win both.

Texas A&M.

Washington's is beautiful with the water.

The Rose Bowl is special for the Rose Bowl itself

Wisconsin is a pretty rockin time.

Indiana's campus rocks.

Can't wait to visit Autzen in a few weeks
