Sniper elite and far cry new dawn.

Great stuff!

FC New Dawn is also FPS boosted on Series consoles, though it drops the game to 1440x1080p, the One S resolution.

I would take that trade though, its a pure shooter.

Also, while it's billed as a co-op game, it can very well be played completely solo as well, like how I've only ever played it. The story can be beaten from start to finish without a second person.

Citizen Sleeper was a unique experience, a game unlike any other so I'm so looking forward to the sequel. Eternal Strands looks really cool and obviously Sniper Elite. Made up for the garbage first half of the month.

LOL no.

Also, waiting for the Seagate 2TB expansion cards to be available in Europe again, ordered months ago, still not deliverable on Amazon.

Maybe someone at Microsoft reads that, here's hoping!!

I’ve completed Far Cry 3,4,5 and 6 solo, so yeah, I’m sure I’ll enjoy this one solo too!

I had almost forgotten that Far Cry 5 was originally a 30fps game on the Xbox. I remember it got the fps boost (and the drop in res was very noticeable but worth it). Pretty sure it since got an official 60fps upgrade?

Surprised they didn’t do New Dawn at the same time. Ah well!

Ew can’t stand it when a game gets dropped to 1080p.

I haven't played Sniper Elite yet so I'll try that out. I would recommend Kunitsu-gami. I know it's tower defense but it's a pretty unique game and I think it's a good game to play between big releases.

However, FF Rebirth does come out on the 23rd and I already got it in my Steam Library....so eventually I will get to these.

I had to buy deaths door because there’s no way I’m gonna finish it before it leaves gamepass. Glad to have it in my collection. I liked Lonely mountains on bikes, so much I ended up buying it. So I’ll be checking out this new game with the skis. Eternal strands sounds interesting. Diablo 4 DLC is always gonna get playtime. I been playing a lot kunitsu gami, tails of arise and I’m taking my own time to finish indy.

When is VF5 REVO coming to Xbox? I been having a blast with that on PC but I really need that game on my Xbox where I can kick the shit out of my long time friends…. And rivals. 😅

All these subscription services do nothing but raise prices and add old and mediocre games these days, and people still subscribe and defend like nobody's business. What gives?

There are 5 Day one games there. Eternal Strands and Citizen Sleeper 2 have 8/10 reviews from Edge, and Sniper Elite is set to be an excellent time.
But…

I'm good without needing to rent digital games, yo.

I think this is an odd take, on things.

In the case of gamepass you can’t call things like BO6 , kunitsugami, monster hunter rise, octopath traveller 2, no more heroes 3, stalker 2 or a bunch or other “old and mediocre”

Xbox games come out day and date on gamepass. I’m looking at my screen and even at a glance I can see sea of stars next to sea of theives nest to senua’s saga: hellblade 2….. and that’s just the first three games starting with S…. I scroll down and starfield is right there. And I got all these yakuza games to choose from…. All of them in fact. Lies of of is a quality souls like . plagues tale is decent…. Lots of interesting indies like the gunk, cocoon . Got action games like evil west, control, quantum break a few assassins creed and far cry games…. I just downloaded atlas fallen and it’s not half bad…..I’ve got all these other games like prey that I haven’t got round to playing yet. And if it wasn’t for GPU I would not have taken the time to get into strategy games. A genre and never realised I liked until recently. Especially the story driven ones like aliens dark descent. That game was a plaeasent suprise. I’m actually gonna give halo wars and wasteland 3 a go at some point .

Even the mid stuff like immortals of scum and calisto protocol are good for a one burn through. It’s not like I paid for them.

I can’t speak for other subscription services but gamepass is dope! I love that I can just wait for new fifa and maddens to arrive on their instead of buying them every year. And. Ow that applies to COD aswell. The service has been well worth the money. And I still have all sort of nee games to look forward to on the device along side all the stuff I have to play from now till those games arrive. I don’t even know when I’m gonna get to the backlog of games I bought. I’d say GPU is the best service hands down right now.

GPU don’t need defending. It’s a great service….. the others? I can see why people don’t feel like they get value with those. No day one releases, no perks/rewards ( I’ve bought loads of games with Microsoft reward points over the years) so with other services maybe there’s just not as much value to them.

New Dawn probably flopped, wasn't worth the patch. But yeah, FC5 got a 60fps patch on next gen consoles.

GamePass still remains a great deal when there isn’t a bunch of big time releases coming out.

Sleeper Citizen 2 and Sniper elite for me. I absolutely loved the vibes of Sleeper Citizen.

You that’s one of the few good things about all thise cross gen updates. Some games I bought back on Xbox one have frame boosts and I still haven’t gotten round to playing them. Witcher 3 is a good example of that. I bought back in the Xbox one days. Never actually got round to playing it for ages and by the time I did I was playing it on series X at 60FPS. Lots of other examples I can think of. Deus Ex and crysis for example. Even now I have new games I bought last year but I probably will end up playing them on the next Xbox by the time I actually get round to them.

Going to check out Lonely Mountain later. Already own the Gigantic premium release, check it out if you like MOBA’s, it’s fun.
