Well I mean it isn’t nothing I guess. That’s like $50+ million in credits based on ~47 million ps plus players or 1/8th quoted spend of Concord in credits. 😂

I don't look at is as them "crediting $50+ million" to players. I see it as delaying their fee collection by five days for the next cycle. This isn't costing Sony anything to do.

Few extra days are actually a disservice for folks who extend their membership during black friday discounts. These discounts are usually for inactive users, now your sub will run out after the sale ends and you will miss the discount. Well played Sony.

Maybe that’s their plan, they know most in that situation won’t cancel their auto renews to make use of these 5 days yet they get to look like they were being generous.

I was playing single player digital games all day. I've also played them in the past when my internet connection was down. How are you locked from your digital games? I don't believe there's an always online requirement for them.

I'm from the time when multiplayer was free, and we subbed plus for the free games and discounts _ has a personal choice...
Now we have to pay a lot of money for this shit if we wont to play online the games we buy (thanks Microsoft for being the pioneers of this shit practice in gaming), so as paying clients of the service we should be informed about why it went down, and what will be done with our money to prevent it from happening again.

So that's like 1 euro value based on the 9 euro subscription and one day out of those 5 accounting for the day lost.

Considering the price of games and GaaS mtx, this seems like a slap in the face to me.

Maybe a silly question but is anyone noticing that licenses are gone? I had all of the dark souls games… and they are just, gone now?

I have access to 2 still but not 1 or 3. Says I need to buy again? Maybe I’m remembering wrong and I had the physical copies? But I’ve had my digital ps5 since launch.

I’m sure I’m just confused? Can i look up the date of the last time I played each some how?

Edit: I’m nearly certain I’m just remembering it wrong.

I’ve never been locked out before when an outage happened. This time I was though for some reason.
