Now this is a good unboxing video. I'm still waiting for the review code, though.

That unboxing video wasn't good for my soul. I now want the physical edition D:.
just got done with the prologue and the game is fantastic! my only gripe is the sound when characters are talking sounds a bit low quality or muffled not always though. I'm loving the OST thus far.
ok I'm on chapter 3 and need some helpYuki just throw what seems to be the book of shadows out the window, I thought I would head outside from the entranceway to reach it but it didn't work. So question is now where do I go? I've checked basically every room and still can't find the next step.
I just finished that chapter last night and If I recall correctly the sequence of events after that was something like:Then after thatGo back to the janitor's room. Examine the cabinet and you get a key.thenUse that key on the first floor room 5-A, examine the séance board.go all the way back to where Ayumi put down her first candle and head south.
Chapter 4 has to be the most aggravating chapter of any of the games so far.The amount of phantoms is ridiculous compared to the small amount of talismans you find and they find you no matter where I go. I ended up dying to 3 of them chasing me down. I feel like I'm punished for exploring now.
So, I checked PewDiePie's channel to see if the Blood Drive video was up but I found a "BOKU NO PICO REACTION" so I guess the deal didn't work?
Did anyone buy digitally and get the NP-9978-3 error? Download won't initiate and I can't find much on the error other than it having to do with activation? Weird because I never mess around with that, and I tried reactivating on my system and nothing.
Game looks better than I expected but it the framerate goes down to like 15 when you turn the flashlight on. Speaking of the various lightsources, where do you go to monitor battery life? Is it a major thing to be concerned about?
Well, you can always just hit select and enable infinite battery. But yeah the downfall of having the flashlight on is the FPS goes to shit D:
I had this issue also. I was able to download it by accessing the playstation store on my computer, accessing the download list and prompting the download for the vita that way. Another option is using your ps3 if you have one.Smooth sailing so far on my OLED vita.
If the game is anything like the first one you should collect all wrong ends!Jeez im bad at game, trying to get through the first chapter in the first game
every corner I go WRONG END!
Oh jeez, lemme just WRONG END!.
But I tried to WRONG END!
oh man...
Really? Wow. Why even have the system then, doesn't disable trophies or anything? Also, can enemies see the beam?Well, you can always just hit select and enable infinite battery. But yeah the downfall of having the flashlight on is the FPS goes to shit D:

And the first wrong end was disappointing, phantom just chased me and sat on me and that was it, no gruesome details or dialogue. Hope that's a rarity!
Edit: What the hell happened with this series? There's some super rich ceo teacher and all of a sudden some bikini girl just pulled out a fucking scythe and tried to murder me in public. First game came out a while ago but I remember it being just(mostly) normal teens trying to survive in a horrible hellscape......
Probably different developers?
The new cast is so wacky, it feels like this is a mashup game.
I've checked every room in Chapter 4 and I'm stuck at the part afterand can't the find the next item to proceede.Mochida springs
It's not uncommon for people to struggle upwards of 30 minutes on that part. The end to Chapter 4 was a bit nuts withEnjoying the game so far other than a couple things.all of those guys with giants axes chasing me having to stay alive for a full minute.
It's not uncommon for people to struggle upwards of 30 minutes on that part.
Then again, I saw someone clear it tonight on their 2nd try. So it's certainly fair once you know what NOT to do.
I have a few questions. I'm in the early part of Chapter 3 though:
1. Are there random chases? Like monsters appear randomly.
2. Should I eat the Strawberry Bun found in the classroom?
Man the wrong ends for the most part are pretty weak. How do you go from something like Mitsuki describing what it's like to have your skin peeled off to oops you got caught by a ghost... and it beat you to death the end
Is there any downside in enabling infinite battery for the flashlight?
I do enjoy Blood Drive but I do consider most of the Wrong Ends to be underwhelming compared to the first two games.I hope that changes it hasn't been worth going for them so far.
Don't say I didn't warn you in advance. (warningEx chapter 4 GOES ON FOR FREAKING EVER!
Isn't sending out review codes the day of release kind of shifty?
In the end, the most important thing I look for in a horror game (especially one that releases so close to Halloween) is that it provides me with some genuine chills. Despite my complaints, this return trip to Heavenly Host was a creepy delight that opted to try plenty of new things rather than fall back on a familiar formula. Not all of those changes were for the better but, on the whole, Im happy this haunted world sucked me back in for one final scare.
