Cristiano Ronaldo will be a playable character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

I'm surprised. I don't care.

KOF has had sporty characters. Not my cup of tea so I just don't play with them, I bet I can do the same this time.

Might be worth a read before dismissing it.

But how does Cristiano Ronaldo fit in here?

You guys are crazy. Not buying a game just because of this? Lol it's a good marketing tactics it's all good. I'll still be playing as Terry.
I can understand. I have no time to play fighting anymore but I really like Garou so I was thinking to buy the game.
But already fictional guest characters are not my thing but real life personality that doesn't fit at all the universe is a big immersion breaking deal for me (And immersion is a big part of my love for videogames).

I'll for sure never play this character, but I might face it online and this is annoying for me.

I might still take the game (because it's Garou 2 and I love the first one) but much later on a second hand market or big price decrease.
But I really don't want to support or encourage a thing I don't like in videogame.

It's not even the real Ronaldo.

This is one of the only cases where a paid DLC is preferable than a character inserted in the base game :)

He looks like what I thought he was going to look like, a kick-version of Sean from SF3

I hope his character is at least fun to play with.

I definitely wasn't expecting a soccer player in a fighting game. Honestly, I don't really care for the idea of guest characters in fighting games because most of them imo seem like quick cash grabs and can even be immersion breaking, but this is REALLY weird and random especially in something like the Fatal Fury universe. With these fighting games and their obligatory guest characters, you don't even know what to expect anymore.

It's weird. I also had Shaq Fu on SNES. SNK made some awesome soccer games. I guess it makes sense. I wonder if he'll play the game or toss it in the dumpster. Actually, I wonder how much they paid him for his likeness.
